Today was it.
The biggest day of the year for K-Pop artists, the Mnet Asian Music Awards 2016.
The group were asked to perform and were up for a few awards after heir record-breaking year, on being the prestigious Artist Of The Year.
When the group got to the venue, they walked the red carpet and the paparazzi took photos of them. They walked to their dressing room and got ready for the show.

When they walked into the stadium, they saw the thousands of fans waiting to see them and other groups such as EXO or TWICE.
The show started and they sat through some performances like EXO's performance of their songs Transformer and Monster and NCT's performance of Black on Black. Mason was proud of his hyungs and dongsaengs, especially Jisung and Jeno for improving so much on their dancing to be put as the center. After the break, it was time for BTS to perform. They were going to perform Blood, Sweat and Tears and Fire. They got called backstage and got dressed to perform.
"Guys, we can do this!" Namjoon encouraged the group. They did their 'Bang Bang Bangtan!' cheer and went to their spots.
Before the performance of Blood Sweat and Tears, Jungkook got hooked up to the wires and got raised up while the voice over Namjoon and Mason did for the short movies played.
On the main stage, Hoseok started doing the dance for the introduction of the album, Boy Meets Evil. He paused in the middle of his dance and Jimin started doing his dance for his solo song Lie. They came into the middle and started to dance to a mashup of the two songs.
They both ran to the group and started Blood Sweat and Tears.
After, they all ran down the stage to go underneath the stage to get to the extension part of the stage except Taehyung and Seokjin, who were doing something related to Blood Sweat and Tears.
While they were getting to the lift, there were extra dancers wearing black and white robes that were dancing and doing back flips and somersaults across the stage.
The group parted and there was Mason, standing. He broke out into a sprint, did a handspring and danced with three of their back up dancers all the way to the extended stage. When he got to the stage, the crowd bursted into screams and cheers. Most of the other artists sitting there were amazed at what they just saw. He walked around the stage while the others started to raise up on the lift. When they came all the way up, they found their positions and danced their hearts out.
When they were finished, they went backstage and had a group hug. They went back to their seats to be complemented by other artists.
Half an hour later, they were announcing the winner for Artist Of The Year. They showed the nominees which were EXO, TWICE, BTS, GFRIEND, TAEYEON and...
"The award goes to.." The announcer said "BTS!"
The boys were in shock. They couldn't believe they won. They took each other into a group hug and walked up to the stage, crying.
"ARMY!" Namjoon yelled into the mic.
All Mason could remember is that everyone was crying about how they won the biggest award of the whole show. It was the first time he'd seen these seven other men cry, especially Yoongi. Everyone was so shocked to win a huge award over other huge acts, especially EXO, one of the biggest boy groups in Korea. It was one of the first times a group or soloist from the Big Three didn't win this award.
Mason was given his first nickname from the fans that very day.
Lucky Star.
Since he joined the group, all he did was bring success to them.
