wow, um, hey guys...? long time no see...?

i don't give these author notes in their own chapters, besides the whole dating thing which is STILL going on a year later, but i thought it was warranted especially for my month (?) long absence...

my life recently got really hard and it's been affecting basically everything i do..

i've been playing sports my whole life, but I've never gotten hurt so many times in such a short time span. i basically messed up my whole right leg and did something to my wrist which impacted being able to type and write. no breaks or fractures tho,, just pulled muscles that still hurt like hell lol

not to mention that my sleep schedule has been so crazy due to sports and school that it makes me feel like a zombie when i try to do anything that involves my brain. and this is when my marks at school finally count and i've been trying to use all my brain power for that.

and i've genuinely have had zero motivation, like at all?? like this is different from writer's block, it's an everything block 😭😭😭

i've mentioned this before but my mental health was on a decline since august and it's gotten a bit better, but there are days where life is just impossible and makes me want to give up. i think i'll never feel 100% for the rest of my life, but it's fine and i understand that. i know that i do need help, but honestly, that's a future me problem for when i'm at uni lol

before i end this, let's talk about things that have made my life a little more bearable..

1. the end of april/beginning of may comeback lineup was actually killer guys,,, agust d, dojaejung, svt, the loml woodz, le sserafim AND aespa??? you gotta be joe king bruv

(my fav was spicy by aespa,, the my world album has been on repeat + hold on tight is like top 10 songs of the year for me... the aespa girlies are back on TOP in my book)

AND

2. i got obsessed with the most embarrassing and most stereotypical thing a canadian could get obsessed with.... HOCKEY 😭😭😭😭😭 like it genuinely pains me to say that a good portion of my attention was off of kpop and on men that hit a puck with a stick on ice.... i won't say what team i got obsessed with but they got my hopes up for no reason...and if they make it to the playoffs next year, there's a chance i'll probably fall down the rabbit hole once again

but, it was actually fun learning about something new that didn't involve school for once and it helped me bond a bit more with my dad who has been obsessed since he was a kid :)

anyways, i honestly don't know when the next chapter will be out, hopefully before september (rip😭) but no promises
