this isn't the usual chapter i write for the story, but it's more of a behind the scenes, a bts, if you will, of love is not over!

so, without further ado, let's get into it!!

FIRST OF ALL, WHO IS THE AUTHOR OF THIS STORY?

well, that's me, obviously!

i won't completely reveal my name, but i go by keke or key on the internet and i'm currently 16 years old. i'm from canada and have been into kpop since 2016. also, my pronouns are she / her, but it's fine if i'm called more "masculine" terms, such as bro.

my ult group is bts, if that wasn't obvious, and my two ult biases are jaehyun from nct and woodz! after bts, my favourite groups are got7, seventeen and ateez and after woodz and jaehyun, my biases are yugyeom and jinyoung from got7, seonghwa from ateez. i was unfortunately a produce stan until p48 came around, so i like ioi and wanna one as well rip TT.

groups that i love listening to but don't stan are ikon, gwsn, the boyz, twice, victon, stayc and many, many more!!

❪ i personally think red velvet has the best discography in kpop, but try to prove me wrong! ❫

my favourite kpop songs right now are eleven by ive, express moon by jo yuri, stay alive by jungkook and soso by winner! i'm always open to listening to new songs and getting recommendations for you guys!

outside of writing this book, i like to read, my favourite book right now is the song of achilles by madeline miller, and play soccer.

finally, a fun fact about me is that i speak two languages, english and french. i've been learning french for about ten years at school since it's a national language here in canada and i really like it! i may not be completely fluent yet, but i can confidently say that i'm better than like 85% of fsl students lol.

WHAT INSPIRED ME TO WRITE LOVE IS NOT OVER, YOU MAY ASK???

i first created this book in late 2018 - early 2019, i don't exactly remember when, but, it was to make me happy.

that year, i was not doing well and i was losing my love for bts. but, i fell in love with another group..

nct. specifically, jaehyun.

jaehyun has been my ultimate bias since 2018 and he still is to this day. i had him in my mind for mason's fc basically since the start of the book and he hasn't changed since.

the cherry on top for me was discovering that jaehyun and jungkook were friends irl, so that motivated me even more to write the story!

some new readers may not know this, but this book has been posted, finished then unpublished about three times already. since this last posting, i have changed the title and the storyline a lot and have added in new details, such as the 7 + 1 series that is ending soon and the scenarios tab. so, if you check to comments on some chapters and the dates say 2019, that's why.

speaking about the storyline, i'll basically just spoil it for you since it's not happening anymore.

so, mason was under contract with bighit for three years and would come back to sm after those three years were up. there was this big worry about mason leaving bts, blah blah blah, then, it was discovered that the contract that said that he only had three years with the group was fake. he sued sm and stayed with bts until the present day. i actually remember that i posted the chapter about mason's choice of staying with bts right when the ball dropped on new years day of 2020, before the world went to hell lmao.
