Netflix Comfirms Casting Of BTS' Mason In Season 2 Of Stranger Things Written by Melody Kang January 12th, 2017
Our favourite main dancer has been cast in his first TV show!
Today, Netflix has confirmed Mason's casting alongside American actress Sadie Sink and Australian actor Dacre Montgomery for the second season of Stranger Things. This comes after speculation of Mason staying in the United States for a few months was confirmed by his company, BigHit Entertainment.
Mason will be playing Alexander McCann, an intelligent 17 year old high school student who helps out the main cast, Mike, Dustin and Lucas, played by Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin respectively, in the AV Club. But, Alexander also hides a big secret from everyone around him. We also know he is frenemies with Steve Harrington, played by Joe Keery, and is the boy-next-door type of character.
Stranger Things 2 is confirmed to be released close to the end of this year and we cannot wait to see Mason on the silver screen!

AUTHORS NOTE ——— hello, it's been forever since i updated 😭 so, i've converted back to my stranger things brainrot stage like after every season, so i decided to go back to the original plan of this book and make mason a character of one of my favourite shows! i'm actually quite obsessed with this show, especially if i include the fact that i literally went to the pop-up scoops ahoy parlour when s3 came out.. so, possibly be on the lookout for stranger things chapters!
