Fans Speculate If There's Something More To These Two Idols' Relationship Written by Koreaboo February 20th, 2022
From multiple food trucks on drama sets to having a video edit created for an idol's birthday by the other, fans have been speculating the possibility that there's more to these two male idols' relationship.
Those two are BTS' Mason and Jungkook!
The two have known each other since middle school when Mason toured Jungkook around on his first day in 2011 and have been friends ever since! Luckily, SM Entertainment, Mason's old agency, let him join his best friend in BTS in 2015, which is when the group started getting popular and started their domination of the Kpop industry and then the world!
From their first on-camera exchange, fans have been shipping the two for years as they did everything together. They both played sports in school, are amazing dancers and singers and were even born in the same year, 1997!
Recently, the rumour of there being a bit more between the two than we realized was brought back up when Jungkook posted a GCF, a Golden Closet Film, dedicated to his best friend as a birthday present on the 14th of February. Fans felt a romantic tone due to the music, an instrumental version of Mason's song Purple Lilac, and the clips that were used, displaying their everyday life.

In the video, there's clips from their practices, concerts, vacations and everyday life to even clips from their school days!
What convinced everyone that there was something more between the two was at the end of the video, there was a picture of the two in front of a sunset and a handwritten note from Jungkook in English, Mason's native language!

Finally, the last piece of evidence was from a live that three of the BTS members, Jimin, Suga and RM, did today.
A fan asked where were the other members and when they got to Jungkook and Mason, Suga responded with this.
"They've been at Mason's apartment for a few days."
At his words, RM and Jimin both started to laugh, implying that they know more about them.
