silence was the only thing that could be heard in the usually loud dorm. the members stared everywhere but at each other to avoid the elephant in the room. this was the first and longest time mason hadn't reached to his members to talk and wasn't even at the dorm.
"seun-ah?" taehyung called, breaking the silence. "are we going to talk, uh, about it?"
mason nodded in response, his lips getting pulled back by his teeth. "so, i've had time to, um, think about what yoongi hyung told me, and i just wanted to know if it's true? if you all actually do like me?"
the rest of the members looked at each other and bashfully nodded their heads.
all but one.
"jungkook-ah?"
he looked at his best friend, fear present in his eyes. his breathing got quicker each second and his hands shook uncontrollably as he scrambled out of his seat and raced to his room. mason went to chase after him, but was held back by namjoon. the elder pulled him down to where mason was sitting before. "let someone else handle it right now." mason nodded as he saw jimin get up and enter jungkook's room, with jungkook's audible sobs resonating when the door was opened.
