Welcome To Hogwarts (OFFICIAL STORY!)

Chapter 1

Ella was practially jumping up and down with excitement, with Spooky, her chicken, trilling on her shoulder. She was walking down the aisle of the Hogwarts express, trying to find a free compartment. She remembered all the friends she had made last year and kept craning her neck to try and see some.

Finally she pulled into and empty compartment near the back of the train and patted Spooky's head as he honked happily. She had kept in touch using her parent's owl with most people from Hogwarts and couldn't wait too find them all again. Her second year at school would be great!

Sure enough, a few minutes later the compartment door opened and she looked up expectantly.

Holly walked nervously down the isle, hoping not to bump into anyone from her old DADA class. Near the end of year she tried a spell but let's just say that it ended badly. Her friends were alright about it but some people still wanted their eyebrows back; others, their skin was still a little orange.

As her spider crawled from her shoulder, along her arm and attempt to jump away from her, Holly dropped her books and grabbed the pet. "Please, do that and you'll freak out the first years!" she whispered. Sighing, she stuck the arachnid back onto her shoulder and knelt down to pick up her novel.

Standing again, her name was called from the cabin next to her. She got ready to sprint but recognized the voice. In front of her stood Ella, her old school friend.

"Ella!" Holly said as Ella hugged her, "How are you?"

"Great! So glad to be back!" They walked into the cabin to catch up.

"It feels so weird to think of ourselves as second years, doesn't it?" Ella asked, taking a seat.

"Definitely," Holly agreed. "What did you get up to over the holidays?"

Ella patted Spooky's fluffy head."I went back to Australia for a while and hung out with my friends there, went surfing, fishing and so on. What about you?"

"Read," Holly replied bluntly. "...I also went to Spain with my family, where I got this little guy." Holly very slowly held out her pet for Ella to see. "We used to have one but it died. Anyway, this is Chestnut, after his coat."

"Aw, he's cute!" said Ella. "Can I pat him?"

Holly was just about to hand him over when there was a large deal of banging outside.

"What on Earth?" Holly asked, and she and Ella pulled open the door to see two large fourth year boys kicking the door of a compartment. Inside, a small girl stood, terrified, trying to hold the door shut.

"Hey!" Holly yelled before thinking things through. The two boys turned to reveal smirks turning into rather angry looking expressions, But not at the girl, at Holly for spoiling their fun.

"What?" the larger yelled, moving towards them. The girl slipped out of her compartment and ran silently along the corridor. 'At least she's safe' Holly thought. The words 'Were you too stupid to use your wands or did you break them?' popped into her head but all she managed to say was "You'll get expelled for violence."

The two boys laughed at her, which Holly would've done at herself if she wasn't internally scolding herself for being so stupid. She looked helplessly to her friend, knowing any spell she could use would end badly.

The scared girl ran down the hall ways. Her name was Brin Feather and she was a little different then everyone else. Brin was in her second year but was incredibly shy because she had a strange gift. Brin was a physic. Brin could see people auras and sometimes has visions, because of this many people didn't understand her and made fun of her.
