The next thing Amanda knew she was being carried off as she struggles in the vampyre's arms. The one she was connected to was beside him as another vampyre was holding on to her legs. "Oh come on really?"

"Yes really. We don't want you getting away now," the young chocolate brown eyed boy said.

"For crying out loud what could you possibly want me for? Huh?"

"You will see in due time. Now be quiet."

Amanda sighs as they walk into a tiny village dotted with cottages around the perimeter and a wide field in the middle. She tries to cross her arms barely being able to. "Where are we?"

"Welcome to the Honey Dam."

Amanda laughs at that one. "Honey Dam?"

"Shut up!" the taller one exclaims.

She shrugs. "Whatever."

Meanwhile back in the clearing near the castle.

"Brin!" Holly ran over to her and knelt to the ground.

"We lost her, they took her." Brin was shaking she was so mad.

"We'll go after her" said Skyla as she knelt by Brin

"We can't there to fast we have no clue where they took her."

"That true but they know." Kendra pointed to the Vampyres tied up with ropes.

"That true." Brins stood up and walked towards the head Vampyre. She shook her head at him."I thought we were friends." She pointed her wand at the place his heart should be. "There not going anywhere. Someone needs to go get the headmisstiss.

"I'll do it!" called Holly as she ran for the castle.

"Now Sanguini you can tell me where they took her or you can tell the headmisstriss. Your choice."

Holly ran for a while but eventually, she tired. Nearing the edge of the forest, she stopped, her hands on her knees. She panted, gasping for air before stretching up. She started looking at the tip of her wand, twirling it, examining it. She was like a baby first discovering her hand had fingers and seeing if they could control them. That must've been a fluke, right? The shield? 'Probably instinct reflex with the magic,' she thought. It died out as quickly as it had come.

She looked up, wiping the few tears from her eyes. Amanda was lost, hidden away in a vampyre clan deep in the forest. She sat there helpless while the fight was going on around them. It didn't matter when she did start because it was too late. Right now she could be dead or worse. But Holly was determined not to let them do that. How on earth were they supposed to get her back?

Snapping out of it, she thought back and started counting the vampyres. "Three. What are we going to so with three vampyres?" In idea struck. Her face lit up with no one to see her unfitting joy. Holly jumped excitedly, running off to the castle.

Swerving around pupils, she made her way to the Principle's office. Luckily, MacGonnagle was just leaving. Holly sprinted straight into her and sprang back onto her feet, itching to get moving. The headmistress looked startled. "Miss Switch, what is up with you? Why aren't you in class?" Her voice was extremely high-pitched.

"Miss!" Holly calmed down for a second so she could speak. "Vampyres. In the forest. They came after us, surrounding Amanda. Don't worry, they didn't hurt anyone."

"I disagree," she replied, holding Holly's bleeding scratch in a way that made her wince. She kept surprisingly calm... Holly pulled her hand away and went on.
