CHAPTER 64
"Uhm, what?" She asked after standing up and wiping herself with a clean handkerchief.
She did not accept any assistance from me again.
"Your necklace," I said pointing at it. "Where did you get that?"
"Oh, I don't know." She replied at hinawakan iyon.
Before I looked back at her, I looked at the necklace she owned. I couldn't take my eyes off her, furrowed my brows, and wondered if she's her. My mind began to think of things I shouldn't be thinking about.
"I got it from my dad." She told me and looked at me.
It's impossible. It's not her. It couldn't possibly be her. He told me he wasn't going to allow me to see her again.
There's no way.
"What happened to you?" Bumaling ang tingin naming dalawa sa babaeng kararating lang.
"I fell, sorry." Sabi niya at tumawa nang mahina.
"You're such a klutz. Come on, let's get you changed." Inalalayan siya noong babae like she was the most expensive diamond in the world.
Maybe she's special?
Sumunod lang ang tingin ko sa papalayo nilang bulto and noticed the lady helping Yna glance at me before entering the building.
Before leaving ay napansin ko ang librong naiwan niya kaya pinulot ko iyon at dinala hanggang sa makarating sa office.
"Mr. Helffrich, good morning!" As Rain saw me entering the room, she greeted me.
"Good morning!" Bati ko at nagderetso sa aking office.
Nang makaupo ay binuklat ko ang libro and turn the wet pages carefully hanggang makarating sa page na mayroong bookmark at binasa iyon.
If I looked at your face for too long,
Whereby a luminosity unveiled for me
Save by the mists of brightness has its place,
And to not suffer terrible beauty,
I turn from your light reluctantly,
And stood unresolved, an unfinished mind,
A stupid, blinding thing without vision.
It was too long to look at the sun.
Then my everyday life is a small room
For some time, uncertainly,Encircled by the insightless darkness,
It became strange to me among familiar things
I pause, feel and hark, Making my way.
Until I get used to darkness.I can relate to this, as it was intended for me, strangely.
"Sir," When Rain called me, I was interrupted.
"What is it?" After I had the book closed, I asked.
"Mr. Kaden's secretary informed me that they were going to visit the site being built. They would like to ensure that the project progresses as it is expected."
