"Dude!" 'Pag-welcome sa akin ni Ryan at yumakap sabay tapik sa likod ko. "Akala ko, hindi ka na makakapunta? I'm glad you can make it!" He said with a wide smile.
"Happy birthday pre." I greeted him at ibinigay sa kanya ang dala kong regalo. He accepted it and opened the paper bag to see what I had given him.
"There's no way!" He said it with wide eyes and looked at me as if he was unsure if it was really for him. "Grabe, parang mas mahal pa 'to sa buhay ko ah! But I appreciate this, legit! Salamat!" He said at umakbay sa akin.
He threw a party here at his house to celebrate his birthday, and he invited almost every fourth-year student he knows. "Pare, minsan ka lang um-attend ng ganito ah, himala!" Lapit sa akin ni Maurice na isa sa aming mga ka-blockmates.
"Free time." Maikli kong sagot.
"Tropa 'yan eh! Magtatampo talaga ako kapag hindi 'yan pumunta." Sabi ni Ryan at nakitagay sa amin.
"Iba talaga kapag work-oriented. No time to mingle at maghanap ng chix." Prince stated, one of our second-year blockmates.
"Are you attempting to become a sugar daddy?" Mag-a-apply na agad ako sa'yo dadi!" Fro remarked jokingly at inalok muli ako ng isang baso ng alak. Tinanggap ko naman iyon at nakipag-toast sa kanila.
Natawa naman akong umiling. They're back with their nonsense and stupid jokes. Love is not a game, and I am more interested in a practical type of love. I'm not interested in sweet things. Being in a relationship is also not a laughing matter. It's the real thing.
Nagkwentuhan lang sila about their experiences in our course, mga kalokohan nila kasama ang ilang prof and their deep secrets. They were laughing so hard while drinking, and I was listening to them silently.

Pabor naman iyon sa mga lalaking sumasayaw rin kaya napailing ako.
