A familiar scent brush off on Night's beaks. It's ears are picking up the familiar sounds and as it carefully open it's eyes, it saw a familiar scene. The round black owl is back to it's home.

The majestic bird sighed on relief and looked at it's side. He sighed another relief seeing that it managed to teleport with the skinny girl. However, it's scarlet eyes soon show a tantamount of worry as it observed the soulless looking body of the girl.

The owl flew down to the legs of the girl that is mindlessly sitting down on the ground. Night look up to see her expression and all it sees is a doll like expression. There is no happiness nor sadness.

The owl brushed the girl's hair and said, "I know this expression, all right, I will let you be and once you wake up, I hope your heart will be as hard as a stone."

Dream reached her mental limit. She is currently being bombarded by her nightmares. Nightmares that happened in the past. Nightmares that she used to as to be stronger, is now starting to crept out of her heart and destroys her soul.

Dream's fist tightened up as she fights with her inner self. Even if her mind is blank and her nightmares just continue to flash on her vision like a movie, her soul knows, this will not completely break her.

It is funny that no matter how much it hurts. No matter how much unbearable pain shoots up, it will never be enough to break a human. It will bends the person's will at most but it will not completely break.

Dream wants this all to end, she is tired keeping her self up and running. She is tired of fighting with her inner self. Why cannot she just break and fall unto ground like a grain of sand.

And even once Dream managed to wake up and get up once more, then she have to continue on living and put everything behind her.

It is hard. Very hard.

.....

"Are you saying she disappeared? Spade might be vast and dense. But it is not like you do not have the power to find a weak little girl."

The irritation is obvious on Soliard's voice.

"I b-believe that the princess had an awakening."

"You believe...heh." Soliard click his tongue from the dubious answer he received from his phony twin.

He then throw a dagger out of frustration and it hit one of the knights near him. The man could be heard groaning in Lunard's side.

"I should have not leave you to that important task. And just when I finally manage to turn that little witch's life to hell. All that hardwork!! You are utterly useless!"

Lunard watch Soliard's palm turn to a raging fist. The nerves on his hands are turning blue from the pressure.

"I should have done the deed myself."

A shiver came running down to Lunard's back. Her body shivers and remembered every inhumane torture it received from the hands of the man who grew up as her twin brother.

"Be thankful I am currently on my way to an expedition. If not, I will turn your skin inside out."

After that a big crack could be seen on the other side of the mirror and the connection between the two parties disappeared.

Lunard's body is trembling from fear but a sly smile came out of her lips.

"Yes, thankfully you are far away."

Lunard turn her head to the bed and saw the face of the queen who is peacefully sleeping.

Lunard walk and place herself to the sleeping woman's side and gently held her finger under her nose.
