Part 25: Please I Do Not Want a Heart:

When I jumped out of the bushes, I saw the two kids with the two wolves. My instinct told me to grab the wolves necks and snap them.

"Joseph! No!"

I paid no attention to the man riding a horse to chase after me. I ran straight to the forest following Scarlet to find my daughter. I am so mad right now like a wild beast, I need to break something right now to appease my anger.

As I growled and ready my fingers to wretched some flesh, a tiny figure stand in between me and the wolves. I tried to ignore the boy, but I remember that this figure is the one who grabbed my daughter. My killing intent came boiling and I refocus my anguish. However when the boy look into my eyes, my body suddenly felt heavy and my knees dropped unto the ground. Before I knew it, my whole body is on the ground and covered sweats.

'What the hell happen?!'

I am so confused and trying so hard to break free from the unknown force holding me down. And then I felt the familiar warmth on my cheeks, I tried to look up and saw her unharmed being. She glanced back to the boy who is just looking down at me. The boy then ramble with an unknown language.

After I calmed down, I realized the boy looks like someone I know, and he looks like just the same age as my daughter, that made me more confused.

"Joseph!!" Benjamin jumped out of his horse and ran to me. "I told you to wait, now look at you." He mockingly said while looking down at me. "But," then he kneeled down, "this is a first, I kinda like looking down at you."

I want to smack the smile out of his face.

"You should let him go, he is a friend." Benjamin tries to reassure the boy.

The boy look at my daughter. The way they look at each other irritates me more, and I feel the muscles in my body tense up more.

I look at the face of the boy, because of the mask earlier, I did not see the Diamond seal. Probably it is the power of the seal that brought me down to the ground, but this is a first that this ever happened. When Benjamin or the Emperor was the seal bearer, they never use such power.

Is this boy perhaps, utilizing the diamond seal's power to the fullest.

The boy just keep rambling while looking at my daughter, and my daughter just look back at him.

'What really is going on here? Do they have their own form of communication?'

Benjamin looks like he is amused to the scene too. I look at the two wolves that are now behavely sitting behind the boy, the two wolves looks like they have a better understanding of the situation.

"Dia, he is a friend." Benjamin tried again to reassure the boy, "he will not hurt the wolves."

After the boy intently looked at me, the wolves resumed their alert positions and I felt my body getting lighter. When I am finally completely free from the unknown force, the first I did is stood up and grabbed my daughter. Embraced her tightly so that no one will take her away from me again.

"Hey! You might squeezed the life out of your daughter!" Benjamin warned me.

The boy looked alerted again and looks like about to do something again. I braced myself this time.

"Okay! Stop! Stop! Why everyone acts like a wild beast?! Everyone here is an ally! Friends!"

Benjamin is trying to calm the situation, he knows right now, I am ready to kill anyone or anything. Though I am not fully aware of the boy's full potential.

Benjamin shoved his face unto me.

"He is three years old! Three! Be an adult and walk back to the castle."

I give him a sharp look and made a 180 degree turn, grabbed his horse and jumped on it.

"Ya!"

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Why take my horse! How am I gonna get back?!"

"Ask your jungle son," I whispered to myself and did not even bother to look back at the furious Benjamin.

When we reached the castle, the guards tried to tend with me with some maids. The maids wait for me to hand my daughter over to someone, but I just glare at them. I mounted off the horse and start marching towards the teleportal.

However, it feels like I am forgetting something.

"Hey Joe!"

Benjamin is running after me. It seems his son did helped him to come back here to the castle. However the boy is nowhere in sight. I automatically held the little human tighter.

"Don't worry, the boy went back with his herd. We are not done talking, you cannot go back yet. Also, might as well stay the night."

"Stay...?! Like hell we will!!"

"Calm down, calm down, you are scaring everyone, even your daughter." Joseph sighed really loud and gave in. "Okay, okay, you can go back for today, we can discussed the rest few days from now. We already covered the important points anyway, and this little girl, looks like is hungry and sleepy."

Benjamin raised his hands to touch my daughter's cheeks, but I turned my body to hide her away from him. He looked startled.

"You might had been traumatized with the events today, and probably what you learned today had made you more possessive. You can go back to Spade, I'll see you on this little one's birthday and coronation ceremony."

Benjamin glanced at my face, and then started pushing my back to the portal.

"Tell Kaleid, I missed him and this lover boy will see him in a few days."

I did not dare to look back and just let the portal to sucked me in. At the end of the portal is Spade and Kaleid who looked quite upset.

"My Lord!!!"

Sigh, I do not really have the energy's to hear his nagging. I continued to walk pass him.

"My lord!! Why did you not informed me beforehand about this trip to the Empire's Palace?! The whole Castle was in chaos because two royals just disappeared from the castle grounds, moreover the princess's attire wasn't-"

"Before that, prepare dinner, this little one's stomachs been grumbling."

"I anticipated that my lord, so the dinner had been prepared and just have to be served. That is why next time, please inform me beforehand so I can prepare food and proper attire for the princess. You did not even brought a coat with you."

Argg, I guess I'll be hearing this man's nagging for couple days.

I looked at the dark Castle of Spade.

'A future of loneliness, a future living with a curse, and a future beyond human suffering, such fate for the Clover's child.'

"She is not the Clover's child, she is the Spade's child."

"My lord?"

"How was the coronation preparation?"

"Eh?"

Kaleid sounded confused, he knows I am against it and did not anticipate that I will be concern about the event.

"It is doing well... The Queen is... Taking it seriously.."

"Good."

I left Kaleid with confusion and unanswered doubts.

This child is the princess of Spade, the prophecy about the Clover's child is not hers.

If I have to plant her here in Spade I will, I f I have to sacrifice another soul to be the Clover seal bearer, I would. If fate wants war, it is war it will get.
