58: Please I Do Not Want a Heart

"Your Imperial Highness!!" 

Knights start running inside the room. The knights found an unknown man lying on his own pool of blood at the office door of the Emperor and inside was the unscathed body of the Emperor with a bloody sword at his hand. Also another unknown man with a bloody neck at the feet of the Emperor.

A warm but vicious aura is coming out of the room, then a cold voice reach the ears of the knight. 

"Burn these bodies."

The cold voice of the Emperor surprised the knights, this is an unusual demeanor of the Emperor. However, the Emperor had been serious and cold ever since the steward of Spade came out of the portal originating from the country of Clover with grave wounds and is currently unconscious.  The knights can guess as much that something terribly bad had happened at the borders and there is something wrong when they were denied to enter or have a contact with the country of the Clover. The knights start moving swiftly when the Emperor left the room. The knights assumed that these unknown strangers are dead and swiftly carried out the unmoving bodies.

The knights that are guarding the halls, flinched when the Emperor pass them by. It is the first time in a while since they felt a strong aura coming from their Emperor. It had been so long they could not remember how that aura feels. That man that exudes the aura of viciousness yet also warm, and strangely with holiness. The knights start to think that it must be the influence of the seal. The man with a fluttering blonde hair and green eyes proceeds on walking at the halls with his bloody sword. The knights still find it strange with their Emperor's sudden change of demeanor but no one dares to voice anything out.

"We have prepared a warmth bath your Imperial Highness." The maids who are shaking from unknown fear, did not dare to look up to the man's face.

The man did not even spare a glance to the cowering women and proceeds to enter his chamber with a loud slam of his door. The man stayed still for a bit inside the closed chamber's door. 

"Why is he suddenly so scary today? Where is Sir Leo?" The man heard the whispers of the maids behind his closed doors.

He clicked his tongue and coldly said.

"Probably, should cut their tongues." 

"With all due respect, please let us wait for a bit before we make sudden changes."

A tall figure of a woman who is wearing a robe designated for men, step out of the shadows. The moon shines down to her long black hair, and her icy blue eyes are glowing from the darkness.

The man smiled and turned his body around.

"How do I look?" he asked.

"Splendid your Imperial Highness."

The man walk and face the mirror.

"Though, I shall say, I never liked that man's face from the start. This lazy looking eyes is annoying to look at. Moreover, this green eyes, looks disgusting and not majestic at all. Though this blonde hair of Benjamin, is something that all royals of Heart Country used to envious. Well, when they were still alive."

The man's lips were smiling but his eyes were not. The green eyes that is made with magic is especially scary.

"So at this moment, I am no longer Duke Cale of Heart but his Imperial Highness, the Emperor Benjamin of Diamond. Lunard, we shall start the second phase of our plan. Tomorrow, the Clover Country will be mark as the land of the traitors. They have killed the King of Spade and betrayed the Empire. The Spade who is currently kingless, will lay low to mourn the death of their King. The Heart and Diamond Country will do their best to get rid of the rebellious country of Clover."
