Part 34: Please I Do Not Want a Heart:

"Eeehhh, where am I?"

I've been walking around for a while now, and I haven't even seen a single soul.

"Haa... Probably I should had lowered my pride and did not kicked out the maids.... But!! They were so rude! Just because I haven't earned the title of a princess, they give me snark remarks! Even though those maids are from Heart Country as well!!"

'Seriously though, where am I? Did those maids are now starting to bully me and hiding from plain sight?'

I looked around and try to feel some presence but there is absolutely nothing. I kinda start to hope they are hiding and bullying me, instead of being alone in here. Spade's Castle is kinda creepy, it is pretty big and I thought it will be full of knights everywhere because I hear this country was always on the verge of civil war. However, according to the Queen, most knights are with Prince Kahel who is currently waging war at the border but the few that remains here can guarantee they can kill a hundred soldiers in minutes.

"Probably, being the heart seal bearer wasn't a good idea."

The cold breeze of the wind and the bustling sounds of the grass and the trees made me look on my right.

"Ah, this place."

No wonder there is no maids here. I remember the Queen saying that the consort who takes care of this side of this Castle died six years ago.

"I think they call this place the Clover garden?"

I remember the princess of Spade coming out of here few days ago. Probably, that is why this place is well kept, it is the princess' playground.

"But, for a garden, this place is quite dull."

An old creepy tree, surrounded by clover and on the far side is a run down shed. There are roses, but they are not the rare species ones. I guess, whoever had made this garden doesn't know much about flowers.

"But isn't the consort from Clover Country?"

A country embraced by mother nature.

"Hmm, what a peculiar plant."

On the other far side is a bush two heads taller than normal adult. It looks creepy at the outside and people will surely tend to walk away from such plant. The way it is shape is like wild animals can make this bush their humble home.

"I can smell something good inside."

I am really curious now. Though I am scared that a vicious animal is inside, but what if, it is bunnies?

'Ahh, my hands wants to fondle on some good fur.'

I grasp my gown and start thinking so hard. I am a lowly daughter of a count. When the Queen of Spades offered my Father some golds in exchange of his daughter. I was actually glad, I was so tired being in the lower circle and I want to show the other nobles' daughters that blood is not all you need to be a princess. It wasn't an easy life, with all the lessons and I need to act mature most of the time.

In exchange of having a higher noble title than anyone else, I have to give up being a child. Truth to be told, I am feeling really stressed and I feel like I will grow into a really bad girl in the future.

I need some stress reliever.

"Ahh, my hands want something soft."

Oh well, if there is something vicious inside, then I will just hope the heart seal will protect me. But I think if there is nothing inside, I will be more disappointed.
