Ashlyn's POV

My eyes never left the tour bus until the cab was too far away to see anymore.

I shut my eyes, letting the tears leak through and down my cheeks as I remembered how this all unfolded.

"Ash?" Liam asked.

"Mmm-hmm?" I asked.

"I, uh, have something to tell you," he admitted.

"Which is?" I asked. This didn't sound good.

He opened his mouth to speak when his cell rang. He heaved a sigh and hit speaker. "Hello?"

"Hey," a girl's voice blared out.

Who was this?

"Uh, hey, Dani," Liam said uncomfortably.

"Oh good, you still call me that," she said sarcastically.

"What are you talking about?" Liam asked.

"You've been so unfaithful lately, have you been cheating on me?" she snapped.

Liam went white. "What? Dani, I would never do such a thing--" he was cut off when I gasped.

Dani snapped, "Oh yeah? So is Ashlyn there?"

I froze. How did she know my name?

"Uh, yeah, but Dani--" Liam was cut off once again.

"Don't give me that crap, you invited her but you didn't invite me?" she said angrily.

"Dani, she just got out of the hospital, she deserves to be with friends," Liam insisted.

"So do I!" Dani shouted. "I want to be with my boyfriend!"

The moment she said boyfriend my heart shattered. "W-What?" I choked.

Liam was pale. "I'll be right back, Dani, I promise." He put her on hold.

"Ash..." Liam said quietly.

"You're dating Dani and you never told me? You led me on this entire time?" I demanded, still in shock.

"No, Ash, well I guess kind of, but Ashlyn--" Liam tried to say something but I cut him off.

"No, you listen," I said furiously. "I may still not remember anything that's happened in the last month and a half, but Skylar's filled me in on how I ended up in that stupid hospital. You wrapped me around your finger and played me, didn't you?" My voice rose.

Liam's eyes were heavy with pain. "No, you don't understand, Ash, I still love you!"

"Apparently you don't," I snapped. "Because you're dating her." I stabbed my finger at the phone. "I'm done, I'm leaving."

I turned and strode out the door, the world crumbling on me.

I blinked back the tears and wiped the fallen ones with a tissue the taxi driver had offered me.

"Thanks," I mumbled when he pulled up to the airport.

"You're welcome, miss, that'll be 22.49," he said, and I handed him a 20 and a 5.

"Keep the change." I told him and got out of the car.

"Thank you, miss," he said, smiling. He got the suitcase out from the trunk and gave it to me. "Have a safe flight."
