Marina's P.O.V

After a day at the mall, Lana and I made our ways back home. The school week dragged on, and I never saw Lana on the weekend as we were both extremely busy with school work. Her parents came back from Germany, and apparently Chuck is all fine now. She told them about me, but she never told them how close we actually are. They were super keen to meet one of Lana's "friends" and invited me over for a barbeque the following Saturday. It was the Thursday when Lana told me this, she told me they had never met any of her friends before, except for Calvin and his girlfriend Ellie. She said that her parents had also invited them to the barbeque as well.

So the following Saturday I drove over to Lana's house. What would her parents be like? I wondered. She never told me much about them.... But then again, I hadn't told her anything about my family either. She probably thought I was an only child.

I knocked on the door. "Coming!" Shouted an unfamiliar female voice. "I've got it mooom!" Shouted another voice in response, I knew it unmistakably as Lana's. The door opened. "Hey!" Grinned Lana. She hugged me and then pulled me by the hand to her room. "Lana uh, shouldn't I go say hi to your parents?" I asked, struggling to keep up in my heels. "They can wait. I think I'm more important, aren't I?" She said as we arrived in her room, she closed the door behind me. She leaned in and bit my neck. It felt so good. "L-lana, what has gotten into you?" I was shocked. Where was the shy and timid Lana? "I just missed you!" She pouted. I laughed. "I want to go meet your parents though! Come and introduce me to them? We'll have time for us later, I promise." I said, playing with her hands affectionately. "Okaaaay." She sighed.
