Lana's P.O.V
"Elizabeth honey, you have to eat something." I heard my mum call from the outside of my locked door. I sniffed to keep my nose from running. "Go away!" I shouted. I heard my mum sigh as her footsteps slowly fade away. She didn't know what was going on. She never knew about Marina and I, and I couldn't tell her. Not her nor my dad.
I tried to make myself stop crying. "Its okay, you don't need her, you were fine without her." I whispered to myself. But then I thought about her. Marina. My brain remembered her scent and touch and I closed my eyes and hugged my pillow as the tears ran down my cheeks again. I wanted her here now. I wanted her to tell me she's not gonna leave me, that when she said forever, she ment it. I wanted her to hug me...
I switched on my phone, I had kept it off since I locked myself in the bathroom on Friday. I suddenly got notifications from all over. 7 text messages...8 messages... 9. 3 from Calvin, 2 from Chuck and 4 from Marina. I open Marinas first.
Marina: Lana I'm sorry! Please talk to me!
Marina: I still love you baby, but I have to go to London...
Marina: Please don't ignore me, we need to talk about this, we can figure something out!
Marina: Lana please answer me...
I send her a message back.
Lana: I love you. Please come over? I need you.
Marina replies back almost instantly.
Marina: I'm coming baby, I'll be there in a few minutes. Xx
I feel happier as soon as I read it, Marina still cares about me! "Well of course she did!" I think. "She never said she doesnt love you."
Marina was here a few minutes later and I hear my mum loudly welcome her into the house. "I don't know what's going on with her Marina." I hear my mum say loudly. "But I know you'll be able to sort it out." She knocks on the door. "Elizabeth, Marina is here." I get out of bed and unlock the door, I open it abit and peek outside. Marina is standing there, and she is more beautiful than I remembered. She comes in and I lock the door again.
"Hi." I say as I embrace her, she holds me tight. She moves the hair from my face and kisses me passionately as she picks me up and carries me to the bed. She kicks off her heels and we get under the covers together. "Please don't leave me..." I say. "Lana love, I don't want to leave you. It would utterly break me if i had to leave you. I have a plan, and I wanted to tell you, but you never stayed long enough for me to tell you it! I want you to come with me to London. Your parents are rich, yeah? They'll be able to pay for you to go to college with me. We'll rent an apartment together, it'll be you and me together for always."
I suddenly feel alot happier. I smile at Marina and she kisses me deeply. We spend the rest of the afternoon chatting like we always have, like nothing ever happened.
