Marina's P.O.V
"Shit!" Lana and I both exclaimed. I ran after my little sister. I grabbed her by her arm and pulled her into the nearest room, the bathroom. I shut the door. "It's not what it looks like, please don't tell mum!" I whispered anxiously. "Marina, you were kissing a girl!" Lafina exclaimed. "Ooookay..." I said awkwardly. I was going to have to explain to Lafina. "Look sis, I'm gay, alright? And Lana... Lana is my girlfriend, I love her so fucking much. Please don't tell mum, she wouldn't want us to be together, she doesn't understand..." I tried to explain to the little girl. She pondered on my words for a moment. "Alright, I won't tell mum... If you love Lana, that's okay I guess. You're still my big sister, and I still love you. Lana is nice, anyhow. I just wish you had told me, I thought we had no secrets." Lafina sounded hurt. I realized she was more shocked by the fact that I never told her, than she was by my coming out. I pulled her into a hug. "Aw Lafina, I'm so sorry. I promise I will tell you everything from now on again, okay? If it makes you feel better, you're one of the few people that know." Lafina smiled and wrapped her arms around me.
I suddenly realized how I had been neglecting spending time with her. I came up with an idea. "Why don't you, Lana and I all go to the mall tomorrow? You can spend some time with us, and get to know her a little better." Lafina's face lit up. "Really?!" She was excited. "Yeah." I smiled as I brushed a stray strand from her eyes.
I guess it was kinda weird for a teenage girl to be close to her 11 year old sister, but Lafina really was a mini me. We had the same shape face, with the same messy dark brown hair, and the same brown eyes, only she looked more like a cute little puppy dog and could get away with anything. Our personalities were identical, so we had always gotten on well, we knew what would piss each other off.
After our little moment, I went back to my room to find Lana under the covers. I let out a sigh of relief and smiled, so Lana knew it was all okay. "So, did you tell her... about us?" She asked. I hopped into bed and then nodded. "She's cool with us, just sad that I never told her. We've always told each other everything, you know. I promised we'd take her shopping tomorrow, so that she could get to know you better." I gave Lana a kiss on the cheek. She nodded in agreement to my plans "Sounds good baby."
I was more than convinced that Lafina was going to love Lana like I did, and that Lana would adore my little double. I didn't have a doubt in my mind that the two of them wouldn't get on...
