Chapter 33

 I've been ignoring Draco as much as possible by hanging out with the golden trio and going places I knew he wouldn't be. Like right now, I'm at the quidditch game since Draco hasn't gone to any of the games after leaving the team.

I'm sitting with the Slytherins but am secretly rooting for Gryffindor, especially with Ron being the new keeper. I know he's been nervous about this for a while now.

Of course Gryffindor won which made the Slytherins pissed, as they all started leaving the stands.

"You coming Haley?" Pansy asked, which surprised me.

"I'll come to the common room later." I told her.

"You're going to spend time with the Gryffindors aren't you?" She sneered at me.

"What if I am?" I asked.

"Draco won't be happy to hear that." She smiled at me.

"So what? Go and tell him then. In case you haven't noticed we aren't exactly talking right now." I told her and tried to leave but she grabbed my arm stopping me.

"Look, after the other night when you saw me kissing him and he ran after you, he's been really depressed." She started to explain. "I'll admit that I hate seeing you two together because I like him but it's obvious now that he doesn't like me back. After he didn't kiss me back and the way he's been acting I know that it's you he likes. So please help him, bring the real Draco back."

This all shocked me but I slowly nodded my head.

"Thank you Pansy." She smiled at me then walked away.

I wanted to go and congratulate Harry and Ron first though so I made my way back to the castle. It didn't take long to find that fat lady painting letting in a bunch of Gryffindors. I snuck into a group of them and made my way into their common room unnoticed.

I saw Ron standing in the middle of the room being praised by everyone. I scanned the room and found Harry and Hermione talking so I made my way to them.

"Hey Harry, congrats on the win." I said surprising them.

"Haley? How did you get in here?" He asked.

"It wasn't that hard. Everyone knows what your 'secret' entrance is." I explained. "I see Ron is enjoying the win."

Ron is now being raised by some other students as everyone clapped.

"Except they cheated." Hermione said and I turned to her surprised. "Harry poured the liquid luck potion into Ron's drink this morning."

"Harry." I gasped but he laughed.

"I didn't actually do it, just made him think I did." He said, pulling the full potion out of his pocket.

Hermione and I looked at him surprised then turned to look at Ron again.

"You just made him think you did so he would play like he was on the potion." I realized and Harry nodded. I looked at him and Hermione.

"That's genius." I smiled but then I saw Hermione's smile drop and she quickly walked away.

I was confused until I saw Ron kissing a Gryffindor girl. Lavender I believe her name is.

"I'll go comfort her." Harry said moving to follow her but I stopped him.

"No, let me." I said and he nodded.

"I'll come find you guys in a little bit." He said and I nodded.

I left through the portrait hole following a crying Hermione. She went down one of the other towers nearby and sat at the bottom of the stairs and did a charm to cause birds to fly over her head.
