Chapter 50

The room was dark but it isn't hard to miss the movement going on. Then all of a sudden a snake lunged at me scaring me half to death.

I shot up in bed freaked out about my dream, but still trying to think back to it.

"Hey, are you okay?" Draco sat up next me placing his hand on my lower back.

"I think it was Harry again." I explained to him trying to get my breathing evened out. "I think he got attacked by Nagini."

"How do you know? What happened in your dream?" He asked as he rubbed my back.

"It wasn't a very long dream. There was something moving around in the dark and the next thing I knew a snake that looked offiely familiar attacked me then I woke up." I told him. "What if he's hurt Draco?"

"It's okay Haley, Ron and Hermione should be with him right?" He asked me.

"Well yeah, but..."

"But nothing. I'm sure they got to him and are helping him as we speak." He reassured me. "And we all know how smart Granger is, I'm sure she had everything prepared in case either of the idiots she's traveling with got hurt."

This caused me to laugh. "You're right, thank you Draco."

"Of course love." He pulled me into a hug. "Oh and Haley."

"Yeah Draco?" I asked.

"Happy Christmas darling." He kissed the top of my head.

"Happy Christmas love." I said looking over to the clock to see it's about one in the morning. "Why don't we go back to sleep."

"That's a good idea." He yawned, laying back down.

I layed down with him falling asleep pretty quickly.

Draco and I are cuddling under a blanket on the couch by the light of the fire. We had already opened all of our presents so we're just waiting for Narcissa and Severus who are currently making breakfast in the kitchen.

"How's your cheek this morning?" Draco pulled away from me a little bit to inspect my bandaged cheek.

"It's okay, it hurts a little bit but nothing too bad." I told him, giving a small smile. "I'm sure that it'll probably be bruised though."

"I'll take a look at it for you later and change the bandage." He gave me a sad look. "I'm sorry for my father. I don't know why he would hit you or say any of that to you."

"It's okay Draco, he was drunk and I always figured that he didn't really like me anyways." I tried to reassure him.

"He has no reason to not like you, you're the best." This caused me to giggle a little.

"Good morning you two." Narcissa's voice took our attention as she and Severus came into the living room holding trays with pancakes, fuit, eggs and tea, placing them on the coffee table as they took a seat on the other couch across from us.

"Good morning." I smiled after getting off of Draco so that we could eat. "And happy Christmas."

"Happy Christmas." Both adults said.

"How did you guys sleep?" Severus asked us.

"Good, except for the usual nightmare that Haley has because of Harry." Draco explained as we all started getting food.

"So you already know what happened last night then?" Severus asked me.

"Well kind of." I shrugged. "I just know that Harry got attacked by Nagini."
