After a spectacular win last night, the Clarkson Golden Knights return to Cheel Arena hoping to sweep the weekend against Michigan Tech tonight. With 8:17 left in the first period, Greg Moro scored his third goal of the season, on the power play to make it 1-0 Clarkson. Jake Kielly and Devin Kero matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 1-0 Clarkson it remains heading to the second period. With 17:48 left in the second period, Joey Lucchini scored to tie the game 1-1. With 17:13 left in the first period, Marly Quince scored his first goal of the season to make it 2-1 Tech. Kielly and Kero matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, the Golden Knights lead 2-1 heading to the second intermission dressing room. With 49 seconds left in the third period, Nico Sturm scored his sixth goal of the season, into an empty net to make it 3-1 Golden Knights! Jake Kielly finished off the Huskies and Clarkson sweeps the weekend by a score of 3-1! Clarkson improved to 6-4-0 on the season!
