After a pretty convincing series win last weekend, the Clarkson Golden Knights head to Lake Placid, New York to play in the ECAC Hockey semifinals against Harvard on Friday night at the site of the Miracle On Ice. With 17:01 left in the first period, Haralds Egle scored his eighteenth goal of the season to make it 1-0 Clarkson. With 14:47 left in the first period, Anthony Callin scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 2-0 Golden Knights. Jake Kielly and Michael Lackey matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson leads 2-0 heading to the second period. With 6:46 left in the second period, Nick Campoli scored his fourth goal of the season to make it 3-0 Tech. Harvard Coach Ted Donato pulled Michael Lackey out of the net and Cameron Gornet finishes the game in net. With 5:47 left in the second period, Wyllum Deveaux scored to make it 3-1 Golden Knights. Kielly and Gornet matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson leads 3-1 heading to the second intermission. With 18:47 left in the third period, Jack Rathbone scored to make it 3-2 Clarkson. With 11:52 left in the third period, Jack Jacome scored his sixth goal of the season to make it 4-2 Tech. With 4:06 left in the third period, Jordan Schneider scored his second goal of the season to make it 5-2 Tech! Jake Kielly finished off the Crimson and so, Clarkson will play for an ECAC Hockey championship tomorrow night because of a 5-2 win over Harvard!
