After being an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament, the Clarkson Golden Knights will look to advance to the regional championship with a win tonight. Jake Kielly and Cale Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 15:02 left in the second period, Colin Theisen scored to tie the game 1-1. With 13:31 left in the second period, Haralds Egle scored his nineteenth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Clarkson. Kielly and Morris matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson hangs onto a 2-1 lead heading to the second intermission dressing room. With 2:20 left in the third period, Bobby Nardella scored to tie the game 2-2. Kielly and Morris matched zeros for the remainder of regulation so, we'll play extra tournament hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Clarkson and Notre Dame. With 4:07 left in overtime, Cam Morrison scored to win the game for the Fighting Irish 3-2. Notre Dame will play for the regional championship tomorrow night.
