After a great win last Saturday, the Clarkson Golden Knights return to Cheel Arena to play the Quinnipiac Bobcats tonight in Potsdam. With 6:18 left in the first period, Odeen Tufto scored to make it 1-0 Bobcats. With 1:56 left in the first period, Michael Lombardi scored to make it 2-0 Quinnipiac. Jake Kielly and Andrew Shortridge matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-0 Bobcats heading to the second period. With 2:32 left in the second period, Chris Klack scored his second goal of the season to make it 2-1 Quinnipiac. Kielly and Shortridge matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 2-1 Quinnipiac heading to the second intermission dressing room. With 16:31 left in the third period, Haralds Egle scored his twelfth goal of the season to tie the game 2-2. With 2:29 left in the third period, TJ Friedmann scored to make it 3-2 Bobcats. With 32 seconds left in the third period, Craig Martin scored an empty net goal to make it 4-2 Quinnipiac. Andrew Shortridge finished off the Golden Knights and Quinnipiac wins 4-2 over Clarkson. Clarkson dropped to 17-8-0 on the season and 8-5-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
