After a very successful weekend last weekend, the Clarkson Golden Knights head to Lake Placid, New York to play the St. Lawrence Saints tonight. With 5:14 left in the first period, Aaron Thow scored his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 Clarkson. With 13:09 left in the first period, Michael Laidley scored to tie the game 1-1. With 3:18 left in the first period, David Jankowski scored to make it 2-1 St. Lawrence. With 35 seconds left in the first period, Haralds Egle scored his fifth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 2-2. Jake Kielly and Emil Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we head to the second period. With 4:22 left in the second period, Grant Cooper scored his fifth goal of the season to make it 3-2 Golden Knights. With 1:34 left in the second period, JC MacLean scored his first goal of the season to make it 4-2 Tech. Kielly and Zetterquist matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson leads 4-2 heading to the second intermission. With 17:39 left in the third period, Nick Campoli scored his first goal of the season to make it 5-2 Golden Knights. With 15:50 left in the third period, Grant Cooper scored his sixth goal of the season, his second goal of the game to make it 6-2 Tech! Jake Kielly finished off the Saints and Clarkson wins 6-2! Clarkson improved to 7-4-0 on the season!
