After a heartbreaking loss last Saturday, the Clarkson Golden Knights head to Appleton Arena to play St.Lawrence County rival St.Lawrence in a home and home, weekend series this weekend. With 15:53 left in the first period, Ted McGeen scored to make it 1-0 Saints. Jake Kielly and Daniel Mannella matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, St.Lawrence leads 1-0 heading to the second period. With 12:30 left in the second period, Ryan Garvey scored to make it 2-0 SLU. With 8:19 left in the second period, Nico Sturm scored his seventh goal of the season , short handed to make it 2-1 Saints. With 1:32 left in the second period, David Jankowski scored to make it 3-1 Saints. Kielly and Mannella matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, St.Lawrence leads 3-1 heading to the third period. With 14:40 left in third period, Haralds Egle scored his seventh goal of the season to make it 3-2 St.Lawrence. With 5:50 left in the third period, Michael Laidley scored to make it 4-2 Saints. Daiel Mannella finished off the Golden Knights and St.Lawrence takes game one of the home and home series by a score of 4-2. Clarkson dropped to 8-6-0 on the season and 2-3-0 in ECAC Hockey play.
