After a heartbreaking loss last night, the Clarkson Golden Knights return to Pegula Ice Arena to finish the weekend series with Penn State in the game on Saturday night. With 16:27 left in the first period, Grant Cooper scored to make it 1-0 Clarkson. With 15:15 left in the first period, Alex Limoges scored to tie the game 1-1. With 14:13 left in the first period, Aarne Talvitie scored to make it 2-1 Nittany Lions. Jake Kielly and Peyton Jones matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Penn State leads 2-1 heading to the second period. With 14:40 left in the second period, Nikita Pavlychev scored to make it 3-1 Penn State. With 6:47 left in the second period, Brandon Biro scored to make it 4-1 Nittany Lions. Kielly and Jones matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, 4-1 Penn State heading to the second intermission dressing room. With 3:54 left in the third period, Chase Berger scored to make it 5-1 Penn State. Peyton Jones finished off the Golden Knights and so Penn State wins 5-1. Clarkson dropped to 0-2-0 on the season.
