After a pretty dominant win last night, the Clarkson Golden Knights play the Cornell Big Red in the ECAC Hockey championship game in Lake Placid tonight. With 12:31 left in the first period, Noah Bauld scored to make it 1-0 Cornell. With 7:04 left in the first period, Devin Brosseau scored his thirteenth goal of the season, on the power play to tie the game 1-1. With 3:17 left in the first period, Devin Brosseau scored his fourteenth goal of the season to make it 2-1 Clarkson. Jake Kielly and Matt Galajda matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, Clarkson leads 2-1 heading to the second period. Kielly and Galajda matched zeros in the second period so, 2-1 Tech heading to a crucial third period. With 5:41 left in the third period, Tristan Mullin scored to tie the game 2-2. The two goalies matched zeros for the remainder of the period so, we'll play extra postseason hockey because of a 2-2 tie between Clarkson and Cornell. With 5:24 left in overtime, Chris Klack scored his fifth goal of the season to win the championship for Clarkson 3-2! Clarkson is your 2019 ECAC Hockey champions!
