JJ, BEN, EMMA, AND Y/N WERE DISCUSSING the tri-wizard tournament. They couldn't really believe such competition was happening at Hogwarts.

It'd been different having more people around at their school, but Y/n didn't mind, really. The Beauxbatons were beautiful as ever, and the Durmstrangs weren't really a bother either.

Y/n had met one of the Beauxbatons girls though, Fleur Delacour. She said she was entering the tournament.

JJ and Ben were both really excited for the tournament. In fact, they were planning to illegally enter it.

Emma and Y/n, however, were a lot more sensible. They actually thought of the dangers and risks of the tournament.

"I think this is the best thing that has happened to Hogwarts!" JJ gushed, "Think about all the glory you can win!"

"Eternal, JJ," said Ben, looking as giddy as JJ was, "Eternal bloody glory." JJ nodded excitedly, slinging an arm around his best friend.

"I think you guys are dumb, and i think this is a death trap," Emma spoke up, resting her elbows on the table. JJ and Ben's eyebrows furrowed almost immediately after the words left her mouth.

"Eternal glory, Emma!" Ben exclaimed. "Do you need us to spell it fot you?" asked Ben, taking a piece of paper and a quill, "E–T–E–R–"

He couldn't finish writing, Emma had already taken his paper and crinkled it to a ball, throwing it away.

Y/n looked back, watching the paper ball as it hit Jace Wood.

"Oh man," Y/n complained, "I was hoping it'd hit Malfoy or Potter."

Emma panicked as Jace approached their table. She tried her best to 'act normal', inhaling and exhaling intensely.

"Hey," Jace poked Emma's shoulder, "I think this is yours, isn't it?"

Emma just stared at him, jaw hung open. She couldn't even utter a word. Jace was just smiling politely, but everyone could tell he was a bit weirded out.

"Thanks," Y/n butted in, coming to Emma's rescue as she took the paper ball from Jace's hand, "Sorry about that."

Jace stared into Y/n's eyes – she could've sworn she saw him blush. His cheeks turned a little rosy, and his lips twitched into a smile.

"Yeah," Jace cleared his throat, "Don't worry about it."

Emma still had her mouth hung open as she watched Jace walked back to the Hufflepuff table, seeing him sit back down, engaging into a conversation with his friends.

"Earth to Emma Miller," said JJ. Emma still didn't listen. "Earth to Emma Miller!" he repeated louder. Still no response from Emma.

Ben sighed, taking the paper ball from Y/n's hand, and threw it at Emma, making her head turn back to their direction.

"Think you're drooling a little bit there," Ben teased, laughing along with JJ. Emma merely rolled her eyes.

"Do you think Jace is entering the tournament?" Emma asked her friends, who all exchanged glances. "How would we know, Em?" Y/n chuckled. "He's underaged," said Ben, "He's our age – mine and JJ's."

"So– so he's a fifth year?" Emma asked. Y/n then suggested, "You go on and talk to him."

"You know what," Emma stood up, "I'm going to." She walked towards the Hufflepuff table, and Ben cheered, "Go, Emma!"

The three friends watched as she started talking to Jace, both laughing. It seemed to be going well.

"Sis, could you get me that pumpkin juice over there?" JJ requested. Y/n nodded as she pointed her wand to the glass of pumpkin juice. "Wingardium leviosa," she muttered.

All was well, the glass was coming to them without a problem. But suddenly, Emma came back to their table, smashing it out of excitement.

That made Y/n lost her focus – and the juice spilled.

Spilled all over Harry Potter.

He stood up immediately, going to Y/n's seat. When he reached her, he pulled her hand and dragged her out of the great hall.

"Okay, i knew that you didn't like me," said Harry, "But i wasn't aware that you hated me for some reason?"

"I'm so–"

"Thanks a lot, Y/n, really," he snickered, "My uniform is stained with pumpkin juice, just like how i always wanted!"

"You do know that there's a spell–" Y/n tried to explain how to get the stain off, but Harry interrupted her right away, "You are so incompetent, is there anything at all that you do right in your life?"

Y/n raised her eyebrows at Harry's choice of words. She thought Harry was the friendly, easy going boy like her brother told her. Apparently, not so much. He had a very short temper.

"I was about to apologize to you," she scoffed, "But you're a git anyway."

"I'm the git now?" he asked, pointing his finger to his own chest, "Did i or did i not spill my drink all over you?"

"That's right!" Harry exclaimed loudly, without Y/n even saying anything, "I did not!"

"Well, i'm sorry i spilled my pumpkin juice all over you by accident!" she apologized, but was quite annoyed by Harry's behavior.

"Is your apology going to get the stain off?" he asked, showing her the stained uniform. She had to admit, it was pretty bad.

"No, but this will," Y/n pulled out her wand, pointing it to Harry, "Scourgify."

Suddenly, the stain on his uniform came off, and it looked as good as new. Harry looked down at it with furrowed eyebrows, then back at Y/n with the same dumbfounded expression, at a lost for words.

How did he not think of that?

"See? Stain, gone," Y/n shrugged nonchalantly, "Merlin, Potter, you are such a crybaby. Do you complain about every little thing in your life?"

Y/n and Harry glared at each other, before returning to their seats.
