"You know," said Theo as he helped Y/n lift her things to the entrance hall. "I lost my mum in the war."
He never told her that before, and now he felt comfortable enough for her to know that. Theo always missed his mother, he regretted her death.
Because he'd like to know what kind of person he would be if she was still around. His father was a death eater, a single father, so he never got the attention that a normal child should had gotten.
Theo's father cared more about pleasing Voldemort than his own son.
"I'm sorry," Y/n softly said to him. "Really, i didn't know."
"There's nothing to be sorry about," he forced a chuckle. "It was.. Fate. I feel your pain, Y/n, i understand."
Y/n felt safe. Someone understood, and that meant a lot to her. Sure, it would had been better if Harry was the one who said that. He should understand about the loss of a parent, he lost both when he was an infant.
And Y/n thought even after everything they had been through, Harry would just slip a hug, or something. But she hadn't seen him.
"I'll write to you," Theo's voice made the image of Harry's face disappear in her head. Y/n smiled and nodded.
From the corner of her eye, she saw JJ and Ben approaching her. Ben was in tears, and it broke Y/n's heart to see him like that.
The two brothers were clinging onto each other, holding their luggage too. When Ben's eyes met Y/n's, she ran and threw herself on him.
They both held each other tight, and the tears poured again. Like rain, a storm, a storm that felt like it would never stop.
"I can't believe he's gone," cried Ben. They didn't let go of each other. "He was.. I just.. I didn't get to thank him for everything he's done for me."
"You don't have to," Y/n replied, "He loves – loved you, Ben. You're one of us, and you'll always be one of us."
They broke the hug, though locked their hands together. JJ and Ben eyed Theo, but didn't bother to ask Y/n about it.
"I'm sorry for your loss, i imagine it must be hard for you," Theo said to JJ and Ben. They exchanged looks – and Ben still couldn't spare his voice for someone else, so only JJ thanked him. "Thank you, Nott, thank you."
"Well, i should help you guys get these on the train," Theo picked up Y/n's bags, and walked ahead of them. The three soon followed behind him.
As Y/n walked towards the exit of the castle, she looked back and was met with a pair of green eyes.
Harry.
He was holding a book on one hand, and Cho's hand on the other. He was smiling, before he found Y/n's face.
His smile faded away and he stopped his steps, and froze there for a while.
Y/n continued walking and turned away. She couldn't deal with Harry right now, she didn't want to anyway.
She wouldn't want to ruin his study date by running and crying to him. How humiliating would that be?
The three of them stepped onto the train, and JJ and Ben walked to find a compartment almost immediately. But Y/n stayed back.
She hugged Theo, and held him tight. She didn't know what their relationship was, and it was too much to think about at the moment. All she knew was that Theo was a great person, and she liked spending time with him. But did she love him? She was unsure.
"Send my love to your mum," he said. "I will."
Y/n waved goodbye to him as the train moved. She plopped down beside Ben, and rested her head on his shoulder.
The three of them didn't say a word, so Y/n drifted off to sleep.
When she opened her eyes, they were already at Platform 9 ¾. She could see her mother, Remus Lupin, and Sirius Black standing there from the window.
Odette Lewis didn't look well at all. Neither did the two marauders.
Y/n couldn't imagine what it must be like for them. Losing your two best friends at once 15 years ago, one of them betrayed you, and now when you thought life was getting good again, another friend passed.
They didn't say anything. Just hugged each other tight, all six of them. Henry was such a big part on all their lives and it was horrendous to hear such news. To not have him around anymore.

They arrived at the house. And it felt so different. They didn't hear Henry's signature "Home sweet home!" yell. They were greeted by emptiness.
Y/n sighed as she walked to her bedroom. She and her father were the closest, pictures of him were plastered on her walls.
She saw someone walk into the room. Sirius Black. He sat beside her, and took a deep breath. And Y/n noticed his tear stained face.
"Your father was.. A gift," he said, forcing a smile, "Even when your uncle Jonathan died, he still managed to be the glue of the group. He kept everyone together. I don't know how he did that. But he was Henry Lewis, so of course. Losing both James and Henry is hard, but when i remember how brave they were and how strong they were even during dark times, sadness became pride. I'm so proud that i was your father's best friend."
"Me too," said another voice. Remus Lupin appeared near the door. "And i know he's proud of you, Y/n. For your strength. And he'll still guide you, you better know that. He'll still guide you, just far away from here."
"Harry and i broke up. Do you think he'd be disappointed?"
"Whatever you do, i know he just wanted you to be happy," Sirius replied, hugging her.
"Guys, the funeral ceremony is starting soon," JJ informed.
And they walked outside. To the yard.
"Friends, and family, we are gathered here today to remember Henry Lewis. A husband, a father, a friend, a brother, and a brave soldier of the wizarding world..."
Y/n didn't pay attention to the next words. She stared at the framed picture of her dad on top of a casket. Tears streamed down her cheeks. But she realized, the tears she shed wouldn't bring her dad back.
Sirius was by her side, and he had an arm around her. Trying his best to comfort her, though his own heart was shattering.
Y/n kept staring at the picture, her dad was smiling, he was in his auror office. She took that photo, years ago, she remembered. And it hurt her more.
"Look, oh Merlin! I got my own office!" said Henry as he jumped to his chair.
"Do a spin!" Y/n told him, and he did. Spinning his chair around like a little boy.
The room was spacious, neat, clean, and Y/n was definitely impressed that her dad managed to get it.
"Muff! Take a picture of me!" said Henry to his daughter. Y/n took her camera out – and snapped a picture of his father. He was wearing a tuxedo, a black tie, and was grinning like a little girl who got presents from santa.
She missed him so much.
