HARRY AND Y/N WERE WALKING PAST CHO, intentionally trying to get her attention.

Their arms were linked, smiling to each other.

Y/n blushed – got butterflies by the way Harry looked at her. She tried to cast her thoughts away – but his green eyes looked at her so purely and lovingly.

But it was all fake – she SHOULD NOT catch feelings. Ever.

Cho and her friends watched as Harry and Y/n walked past – then, much to Harry's liking she approached them.

She smiled – a smile that could light up a whole room. Harry was mesmerized – he pretty much had heart in his eyes just looking at her.

Y/n didn't know why, but she felt a burning sensation in her heart. Something that she shouldn't have felt.

"Hi, Harry, Y/n," she greeted. Harry cleared his throat, "Hey Cho!"

Y/n gave Cho a polite smile, not admitting she was jealous of the way Harry stared at her – like he'd die if he looked away.

"You guys are together, aren't you?" she asked, "When'd this come about?"

"Well he–"

"Yule ball," Harry answered, interrupting Y/n. His smile didn't fade away even for a second, "She was just the most beautiful girl i've ever seen – inside and out."

Harry complimented Y/n, but didn't even glance at her once. Just stared ahead at Cho, like he was actually talking about her.

"Oh," Cho nodded understandingly, "Well, you two make a lovely couple!"

"Thank–"

"Thank you, Cho!" Harry grinned, "Thank you!"

He didn't even let Y/n speak at all.

"Well, Cedric and i are going to the three broomsticks this afternoon, care to join us?" Cho offered.

Y/n's eyes lit up excitedly.

"Like a double date?" she geeked. Cho chuckled, nodding, "Yes! A double date!"

"We would love to!" Y/n replied, turning to Harry, "Right, Harry?"

Harry seemed nervous – he opened his mouth but couldn't let the words fall out.

"Well uh–"

Y/n elbowed him.

"Sure!" Harry exclaimed, "We would love to!"

"Great!" Cho smiled, "I'll see you both this afternoon!"

Cho walked away, leaving the two alone. Harry abruptly pulled Y/n closer to him by her waist, and pressed his lips onto hers softly.

Y/n was frozen – but kissed back after a second or two.

Harry pulled away – smiling goofily. He then broke into laughter.

"Was that necessary?" Y/n asked, whispering. Harry gave her a duh look, and said, "Yeah, obviously, she was still watching."

"Why'd you say yes to the double date thing?" he then asked.

"Isn't that great?" Y/n gushed, "You can make her sooo jealous that way."

"But Cedric will be there!" Harry complained, "I'm ins– forget it." Y/n furrowed her eyebrows, looking at the frowning Harry.

"You're what?" she asked, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Are you insecure, Harry?" Harry looked down at his feet, shrugging, "Just forget it–"
