Nagising akong mag isa ngayon sa kwarto. Iginilid ko ang mahabang kurtina para makita ang kabuuan ng syudad. Nag aagaw ang liwanag at dilim sa langit senyales na maggagabi na. Nakatulala lamang ako doon hanggang sa unti unti ng magwagi ang dilim sa kalangitan. Muli rin namang nagliwanag dahil sa mga sasakyan sa kalsada at sa ibang gusali. Mas nabuhay ang syudad.

Umangat ako sa kinauupuan ko at napansin na may nakahandang pagkain na sa isang lamesita hindi kalayuan sa kama. Agaad akong nag punta rito at napansin ang note na naka dikit sa lamesa.

When you wake up sleepyhead, don't forget to eat okay? I'll be back late tonight. Gonna finish it all so that we can roam around the city.

I got mesmerized by his handwriting that I haven't notice I've been staring at it for a while. I composed myself when I go to the bathroom and wash my face.

Sa tingin ko antok pa rin ako. Kung hindi ko lang siguro naramdaman ang gutom ko paniguradong tulog pa rin ako.

Inumpisahan ko na agad ang kumain at magbihis. Nawala bigla ang bigat sa katawan ko ng tumapat ako sa hot shower. Iba ang hatid ng hot shower na iyon sa akin. Maganda man sa pakiramdam, hindi nito napawi ang antok ko. Mas lalo yata akong inaantok dahil doon.

Pero ayoko naman sayangin ang ganda ng labas ngayon. Maliwanag ang tanawin sa labas, lahat ng gusali ay nagkukuminang sa ilaw. Parang ang gandang maglibot libot.

Kaya naisipan ko magsuot ng magandang kasuotan. I wore a turtle neck crop long sleeve paired with a trouser. Nagpatong din ako ng long coat dahil for sure malamig na sa labas. I wore some gold details and wore my fave sling bag. Nilagay ko dito ang passport, wallet at phone ko. Then I paired it with my sneakers. Just a casual outfit kasi maglilibot talaga ako ngayon.

But first, coffee.

Palabas na ako ng bumukas naman ang pinto. I found a pair of eyes checking me out. It was Dan, for sure. He's in his formal attire and messed hair. Parang kagagaling lang sa pagtakbo pero bakit ang gwapo pa rin?

"Like what you see?" napatigil nalang ako sa pagtitig ko na pala sa kaniya. Goodness, what's happening again?

"Not really. How 'bout you, like what you see?" I smirk to hide my shyness. Kinuha ko na rin ang isang key card para kahit hindi siya sumama I can still go back here.

"Hell, yeah!" he said it while biting his lips.

I awe in shock. Is he teasing me or playing with me? Goodness mama, it works on me!

"Stop staring, you're making me—" he stopped my word midway.

"What?" he came near me before he put his hand around my waist. Then pull me closer to him.

"—a-awkward." why I'm getting nervous now?

He didn't say anything after but he put his other hand around my waist and pulled me closer 'til air can no longer pass between us.

"What are you doing?" all these words came as a whisper.

He didn't answer but his actions made me feel so much emotions.

He started hugging me while sniffing my cheek. His hot breath in my skin intensify the warm between us. But even with all these feelings, I feel relaxed, relaxed than I ever been.

It feels like I'm home again after a war.

I didn't stop myself from hugging him too. I think my body needs it more than he do. He slowly swayed my body with the rhythm only us could feel. The scene was so serene that I forgot what we were talking about a while ago, or what I planned to do for the night.
