A few weeks had passed and Thor still hadn't heard from Loki. It took him all his might not to ask Heimdall about Loki's whereabouts. The most he had done was go to the Bifrost and check to see if the two were alright. Each time, Heimdall told Thor the same, he told him they were perfectly happy.Meanwhile, Loki and Evelyn lay in bed enjoying each other's company. Loki took Evelyn to his mother's place on Alfheim. She had a small castle on the edge by the wooded area. Loki loved travelling there as a child and the place held special memories. As he held a sleeping Evelyn in his arms, he thought back to the times they travelled to this realm. How he and Thor used to chase each other down the halls, and visit the lake with their mother when Odin was busy. He didn't want to admit it but he missed Thor, and he missed home. As he looked out the window, he felt Evelyn begin to stir in his arms. As she fluttered her eyes open, the first thing she saw was a grinning Loki. It was the best thing to wake up to.
"Good morning." She smiled as she wriggled closer to Loki.
"Good morning, my Queen." Loki replied.
Evelyn sat up slightly a placed a gentle kiss on Loki's lips. He brushed his thumb against her cheek before entwining his fingers with hers. The moment they set foot in Alfheim, Loki got in contact with a friend of Friggas. He had asked them to prepare a ceremony for him to marry Evelyn and they did just that.
"Any plans for today?" She said.
"We could just stay here like this?" Loki smirked as he trailed kisses down her neck.
"That sounds nice." She giggled at the tingling sensation the kisses were leaving. "Have you spoken to Thor?"
Loki paused and let out a small huff as he sat up.
"You have to talk to him at some point, you can't avoid him forever." Evelyn sat up behind him and placed her hands on his shoulders.
"It is possible."
"But it wouldn't be fair."
"Why should it matter if I'm fair to him, or any of them?" Loki got up and stormed over to the window to look across Alfheim.
"Because no matter what has happened, he is still your brother." Evelyn followed Loki to the window. He scoffed as he continued to stare out.
"Please Loki, if I can forgive him then why can't you?"
"I can't risk losing you again." He looked towards her and she smiled sadly.
"You won't lose me." Evelyn cupped his face and held up her hand with the ring on it to show him. "And this symbol is proof."
He softly smiled at her before kissing the hand the ring was on and placing a kiss on her lips. Evelyn smiled into it before being picked up by Loki and carried back to the bed. She was gently placed on her back and pinned underneath him while she trailed her fingers across his jawline.
"I thought we were getting out of bed?" Evelyn giggled into the kisses.
"I told you, this was my plan for today." Loki said with a smirk as he cupped her face and stroked his thumb across her lips.

Back on Asgard, Thor was strolling the halls while Sif was updating him on the new security rota for the palace. He was looking at a scroll Sif had passed to him while Fandral came down the corridor running towards him.
"Fandral? What's going on?" Thor questioned feeling slightly worried as to why Fandral was acting so frantic.
"Spit it out!" Sif said.
"Thor... your highness. Loki has returned." Fandral said still out of breath. Thor's eyes widened and he quickly handed the scroll back to Sif before he started running to the palace gates. He could hear Sif calling for him but he only ignored her.
He reached the palace gates and the guards had their hands ready on the handles to pull them open. He hesitated to instruct them to allow them to open up the door. His mind raced with many thoughts of how Loki would react. Was he still mad? Could he forgive him? After what seemed like an eternity, Thor nodded his head to the guards and they obeyed by pulling open the heavy doors. On the other side stood Loki and Evelyn. Evelyn smiled brightly, meanwhile Loki tried to avoid Thor's gaze by looking down at his hands. Thor was unable to speak any words and his mouth became dry from the nerves. Loki eventually looked back up to Thor and nervously smiled at him.
"Hello, Brother."
