Ice Cold

I tossed and turned roughly almost all night, my body started to become cold and I clutched onto my jacket, it's fabric doing it's best to keep me warm. I ended up just getting annoyed and I sat up in the hammock, I let out a breath and it fogged before my eyes.

I looked down at the floor and saw a thin layer of snow, I than took notice of the room and everything was covered in snow. I put back on my boots, which were so cold they almost gave me hypothermia than warm up my frozen toes.

I walked up the stairs, holding the jacket tightly to my body. I met everyone sitting or standing around, shaking their asses off. While snow and iced covered their bodies and the ship.

I sat down onto a bench, my hair frozen to my cheeks, my whole body ice cold. I could barely feel my body anymore I was so numb. Jack the monkey climbed across the ropes to get to me and crawled inside of me jacket, doing his best to keep himself warm.

"No one said anything about the cold." I groaned.

"I'm sure there must be a a good reason for our suffering." Ragetti replied.

"Why don't the obeah woman bring Jack back the same way she brought back Barbossa?" Pintel questioned.

"Because Barbossa was only dead." Tia Dalma said and than took a step closer to the three of us. "Jack Sparrow was taken, body and soul. To a place not of death but punishment. The worst fate a person can bring upon himself, stretching on forever. That's what awaits at Davy Jones' Locker." The instant she said that a shiver ran down my spine, not from the cold, but from the fear I was feeling.

"Yeah, I knew there was a good reason." Ragetti said. Causing a tiny laugh to leave my lips. I than just sat in silence, I looked around and saw that Elizabeth was glaring at me. I met her gaze and just furrowed my eyebrows.

"Whats your problem?" I mouthed. She just rolled her eyes and turned her head.

Oh hell no

I got up from my seat and sat next to her. "If your jealous of me and Will, please don't be." I stated.

"What! I'm not jealous."

"Than why does it look you wanna skin me alive?" She just looked at me for a second and sighed.

"Okay fine I'm jealous." She finally admitted.

"Why? He's in love with you, not me. We stated that we are friends. Also I feel like if I would steal him from you, I would be a shitty friend." I laughed.

"I'm a friend to you?" Elizabeth asked confused.

"Yeah, Why? Do you not wanna be friends, just acquaintances?" I let out a breathy laugh, my breath being foggy in front of our faces.

"No, I think of you as a friend to." She muttered.

"Good." I smiled. I looked around and saw Will looking at the two of us, a small smile spread across his face.

We began talking again and Barbossa than interrupted our conversation. "Ever a gaze upon the flash of green Mr Gibbs?"

"I reckon I seen my fair share. Happens on rare occasion. That last glimpse of sunset, a green flash shoots up into the sky. Some go their whole lives without ever seeing it. Some claim to have seen it who ain't. And some say..." Gibbs began, saying this to Will.

"It signals when a soul comes back to this world from the dead!" Pintel interrupted Gibbs, causing him to glare at Pintel.

"Trust me young Master Turner.  It's not getting to the land of the dead that's the problem. It's getting back." Barbossa said creepily.

We than traveled the rest of the day and night came quickly, the ship was no longer covered in ice or snow and my body temperature was back to normal.

I was sitting in my usual spot on ships, my feet dangling over the edge, but instead of looking at the water, I was looking at the millions of stars that were lined in the sky, it was breath taking.

Jack the monkey was of course, sitting in my lap, as I scratched his head. I smiled when he snuggled closer to me. Whenever I was alone, I felt like I could let my guard down a little. But not enough to look soft, I still wanted to be seen as someone you don't wanna mess with.

My thoughts were rudely disrupted by a loud commotion, people were scrambling around the ship and yelling at one another.

"What the hell is happening?" I yelled running up to Will, Elizabeth and Barbossa.

"Barbossa ahead!" Will said in a warning voice.

"Aye, we're good and lost now." Barbossa smiled.

"Lost?" Elizabeth asked.

"For certain you have to be lost to find a place as can't be found. Elseways, everyone would know where it was." Barbossa explained.

"We're gaining speed." Gibbs informed.

"Aye." Barbossa said.

"To stations!" Will ordered.

"What is going on?" I yelled again. I still had zero clue of what was happening.

"Blair, come here." Ragetti said as he grabbed my arm yanking me to the railing. I looked forward and saw that we were heading straight for a waterfall.

"Bloody hell." I whispered. I than ran off to meet Elizabeth.

"Rudder full. Hard aport! Gather way." Will yelled.

"Nay! Belay that! Let her run straight and true!" Barbossa yelled louder.

I took the conscience decision to listen to Barbossa...Could this be a bad idea, most likely.

So I stopped what I was doing and didn't help with anything and just grabbed onto a rope, with a death grip.

The ship began to turn sideways and we began to go over the waterfall. I started screaming as my feet flew off the ground and I was using all my upper body strength to keep my self from falling.

The ship finally went fully over the waterfall doing a flip and falling through the clouds. The world suddenly went dark and the next thing I heard was the sound of water splashing.
