Just Friends With Benefits Right?

You and Cedric's relationship was a bit bumpy. You didn't want to be in a relationship with him but you felt something towards him and so did he feel the same way. And the only way you could find a way to not make sure your feelings didn't get mixed up is you both decided to just be friends with benefits. It was an equal agreement and all it was, was just what it is. Make out sessions, intimate sessions and just normal hangouts. That's all it would ever be.

You got dressed after one of your 'sessions' with Cedric, it felt different from usual. You didn't want to question it though. Cedric as well gets dressed, well just back in his pyjama pants. "Hey um do you think ill be able to see you tomorrow? I sorta want to talk" He spoke out rubbing the back of his neck. Your eyebrows furrowed and you turned your head to face him.

"You want to talk? That's a first, but Im not sure" You answered back with a chuckling smile. He smiled back, walking away from his side of the bed over to you. He stood right in front of you, pushing your hair to the back of your ear and then caressing your cheek. You moved your face, only because this was different, this just wasn't normal. "Cedric I have to go now," You said looking away from his piercing eyes.

"Ah, yes just be careful okay?" He reasurred you holding your hand and rubbing his thumb on the top of your hand. You nodded awkwardly, you walked away slowly drifting away from his hand and out of his dorm room. As you exited his dorm room to walk to your house common room you couldn't help to think about what Cedric did. Well, how he touched you. He never touched you like that, he never wanted to just talk and he never had sex with you the way he did tonight.

You were just friends with benefits, right? You wanted to think it was just some dumb one-time thing, you just kept thinking and thinking for it to just be that. And soon enough when you finished your thinking you were right in front of your dorm room. You slowly opened it, and then closed it trying to be as quiet as possible not to wake up your dormmates since it was late than usual.

But you were unsuccessful of course, your roommates were already up waiting for you. You froze. "Where were you? It's bloody late y/n!" One of your roommates yelled at you. You sighed shaking your head and walking to your drawer to get out some comfier clothes than the ones you were wearing already.

"I was somewhere" You replied back in a sarcastic tone.

"Well, where? It's midnight! like I don't know what's going on with you" They answered back. No one knew about you and Cedrics thing, not that it was purposely to be a secret you just never thought you would need to tell anyone. And recently you've just been gone, it could be you just missing class, one of your study halls, or even ditching your friends. But you did this all for Cedric, and you couldn't figure out why.

"I know it's midnight, I wasn't paying attention to time. I needed to just be somewhere okay, now if you don't mind I'm going to bed" You said, looking to both of their eyes noticing their annoyance with you, and then walking away from them with your pyjamas in your hand and into your bathroom. You locked the door and just looked in the mirror "What am I even doing with him..." You said to yourself, turning your tap on and doing what you would do to go to bed.

It was the next morning, you woke up stubbornly as usual. You wanted to sleep in but you had no choice but to get up. You realized your roommates were already gone but you just shrugged it off. You went to the bathroom, brushed your teeth, hair and then got dressed into your uniform. That's when you quickly remembered Cedric wanted to talk to you. You groaned to yourself but you had to suck it up.

You were ready now, you walked out of your dorm and then out of your common room to go to your morning classes. When you were walking you could feel eyes all over you, turning around a couple of times you could see people whispering things as you walked past them. You were confused. But concentrating on all of them you were shock feeling someone touch your arm. You quickly turned your head seeing one of Cedric's friends. Laughing. "Hey, y/n do you think you can come to my dorm tonight? I really need a handy" He said laughing and then running away with his other friends.
