You had always seemed to be the quiet one In your year, no you weren't mute you, of course, spoke to people but most times you came of quiet and shy. Even though you were quiet you were beyond beautiful! All the guys would just drool as you walked down the halls, although it made you feel happy you just never understood why guys thought that you were THAT good looking, I mean you were just like any other girl, right?

It was like any other day you were walking in the halls by yourself with guys howling at you and trying to come up to you but you needed to get heading to history of magic which you seemed to be failing but who really cared, not you at least. As you kept walking to the third floor you then got stopped by someone.

That, someone, was Draco "can I help you?" You thought that he would be like every other guy just to start flirting with you but no "yes actually I thought you'd like to accompany me to Hogsmede this week" You thought that it was one of his little jokes he'd always liked to do with other girls to make them think Draco liked them.

"Um sorry I-I gotta go" You didn't know what to say and you felt like you were choking (speak wise). You walked as fast as you could to your class feeling compleletly embarassed by the fact that you may have just rejected a date from the most popular boy in your year at least you thought it was real.

Once you finally got to your class you sat down In the back speaking that was the only spot left and you were somewhat happy to be alone in the back "ah miss y/l/n welcome I see your not the only one late" You were confused what Professor Binns meant by that but when you turned around you saw Draco.

'great like this couldn't get any worse' You thought to yourself as Draco came down sitting next to you and then having Binns coming towards the both of you with also everyone looking at you two "We know not to be late or conciquences will happen this is strike one for you Miss and strike THREE for you Mr.Malfoy and if I have to give you another class you will happily be dusting books for me in detention".

You let out a little laugh as Binns walked away and Draco with his jaw open and giving him a nasty look "Now there don't get so arrogant" You told him which shocked you since you would never say anything like that to anyone. He looked at you and rolled his eyes "still never got a yes or no" You had forgotten (even though he asked you like 5 minutes ago) that he asked you to Hogsmede but you were to focused on not being late.

As class started you were curious why he had asked you and not anyone else so you wrote him a note saying 'why did you ask me out? do you like me?' You passed it to him who seemed not to give to much attention as he was too busy focusing until he caught a glimpse of you and then saw the note. He picked it up and read it, you watched him from the corner of your eye as he started to write back.

He gave back the piece of paper to you and as you were about to open it you saw Binns turn around so you quickly hid the piece of paper hoping he hadn't seen anything. "Getting this down miss?" you shot your head up quickly nodded and taking out your quill that was sitting in your ink getting a little soggy.

Once Binns had turned around you opened the note and read it 'Why do you think I asked you?' You gave a quick look to him and then back at the piece of paper smiling and blushing a little. Draco hadn't seen but you were basically smiling the rest of the class until It ended and he finally saw you smiling "what's up with you?".

As you got up from your spot and took your books you looked up to Draco and then slowly your smile faded away "um nothing" You quickly walked out of the room and went to your next class. The rest of the day you felt so happy and flustered to know that Draco liked you but It never did seem like he did which confused you.
