Midnight Parties

"Cmon y/n! don't be boring actually come to this party" Your friend Sophie Roper kept nagging you to go to a party a Slytherin Student was holding a back to school party and you never really enjoyed going to them. No first to fourth years would be there speaking as there would be alcohol there and they were usually found annoying.

"Do I have to?" You let out a groan as Sophie kept pulling at your arm to get you up from your bed "yes! please, besides were all going and your boyfriend will be there too, you really want him to be alone?" you didn't know your boyfriend, Dean Thomas, (which yes your a Slytherin and he's a Gryffindor)  was going the be there speaking as he rarely went to parties last year.

"oh? well I mean okay then.." You finally agreed to them and got up from your bed and began to get ready. You went through your wardrobe trying to find something to wear and then you found something exactly perfect for the party. You picked out a black velvet dress that went down to your knees, long sleeves and a v-neck.

"How do I look?" You stood in front of your roommates waiting for a response and staring at them with their jaw dropped "you look hot" you blushed when your roommate Daphne Greengrass told you that as a little joke but you knew you looked good. You could hear music down from your dorm room so you knew it had started.

"well what are we waiting for?" Sophie took your hand and walked out of your room and walked to the common room to see a bunch of people from every house there and surprisingly even Neville Longbottom. You looked around seeing everyone already with drinks and talking and some even snogging in the corners.

You let out a gag when to your shock you were being pulled by Sophie to a table that had all sorts of food and drinks. You watched her as she poured you Gin and Pure Malt Whisky into a small cup, she then passed it to you smiling when you looked down and back up at her "You expect me to drink this?".

"cmon live a little don't be so boring!" You let out a scoff and just took the quickest sip of the alcohol and emptying the cup. When you swallowed it you coughed and let out a gag as it burned your throat a bit "jesus it taste so bad" You looked back up at her and let out a laugh when she again pulled you somewhere else.

You ended up by the sofas and you saw Dean so you ran up to him and sat on his lap giggling a little. Sophie sat next to him as you started to play with his fingers "Woah since when do you come to parties" Dean ran his fingers through your hair when planting a kiss on your lips. As he kissed you that kissed lasted for a hot five minutes until Sophie tapped you on the shoulder.

You looked over at her in confusion "Look I know you want to spend time with your little boyfriend but cmon just have fun and dance with me. Please?" You looked back and Dean who shrugged at you "go ahead I might leave soon not having much fun really" you frowned as you got up from his lap.

"oh cmon y/n don't be so sad its not like you guys aren't litterally always with eachother" You waved at Dean as you watched him leave but then getting pulled by Sophie. She started dancing and you stood there staring at her "well let's go show me your moves hot stuff" she took your hands and started moving you and twirling you around.

You let out a smile and actually did dance instead of standing there like a statue. You both kept dancing to the many songs that were playing until you were soon out of breath and needed to sit down "I...think Im gonna go sit down" you let out a laugh while leaving to go sit down by one of the windows since there weren't many seats.

As you sat there awkwardly you were approched by a tall blond boy named Cormac Mclaggen a Gryffindor student in the same year as you "not having fun?" He sat down next to you with a drink of his while looking at you who let out a laugh "well I mean I don't usually come to these things". He nodded while taking a sip of his drink and you could tell it was alcohol by just getting a smell of his breath that burned your nose.
