The concert finally ended, Ryan and I stayed back while we wait for people to come out. “That was great, wasn’t it?” He asked,

            “Totally!”

            “But why the random story?”

“I don’t know.” I shrugged, “They do weird things.”

“They do.” He chuckled. The venue was almost empty now, “Hey, come on. It’s eleven.” He said and we walked towards the exit. “Thanks for coming with me…”

“No biggie! Besides, I have nothing better to do!”

“You will in a few days.”

“Yea, that.” I nodded. We were almost at the exit when someone tapped me on the shoulder,

“Excuse me?” A low voice said. I turned to see a big man with a tag around his neck that said ‘security’.

“Can I help you?” Ryan asked. The security looked down on what seems to be his phone, then back up again.

“I’ll need her to come with me.” He said,

            “Me?” I asked,

“Only you.” He said. I think I know why, and I started to panic a little,

“I’m a friend of her!” Ryan said,

“I know, but I only need her.” He sternly said,

“What are you going to do with her?”

“I don’t know, man. I was just told to fetch her.”

            “By who?”

“I’m sorry, but that’s classified.” The security shrugged,

“Give me a second.” I said to the security and faced Ryan, “Go home. It’s okay, I can find a way.”

            “I’m not leaving you.”

“Ryan, it’s okay, I’ll be alright. I’ll call you if anything goes wrong, trust me.”

            “Promise?” He raised his eyes,

“Cross my heart and hope to die!” We pinky swore and I turned him so he was facing the exit, “Now go back home!”

“It’s not my fault if anything goes wrong.”

            “I know, I know.” I said,

            “I’ll see you!”

            “See ya! Thanks!”

I turned back to the security and followed him. He led me backstage and through some hallways, “Mind if I ask? Where are you taking me?”

“They showed me a picture and told me to go get this kid, you.”

“Me?” I asked and he just nodded, he wasn’t as scary as I thought. We stopped at a white door, the security turned to look at me and said, “They seem really excited, I don’t even want to know why.”
