My Trickster (Loki X Fem Reader)

Chapter 17 - New York

Tony had arrived to New York before I did, I guess he caught onto Loki's plan. As the portal was open, I land down on the Stark Tower to see Loki.

"Loki! Turn off the Tesseract or I'll destroy it!" I yell.

"You can't. There is no stopping it. There is only the war!"

"So be it." I take my sword out, we rush to each other, both weapons clashing against each other. I duck down as he tries to blast me. I kick his stomach and leap up, suddenly he blasts my stomach, making me fall back as the Jet arrives. Just as they were going to shoot, he blasts them, making the Jet fall below. I leap up and tackle him, "Look at this! Look around you! You think this madness will end with your rule?"

"It's too late. It's too late to stop it." Loki shakes his head.

"No. We can. Together." I smile.

Loki slightly smiles, I reach to help him up. I yell out in pain as he stabs a small dagger into my thigh. "Sentiment."

I pull it out and punch him, grabbing him and lifting him up, then slamming him on the ground. As I go to get him again, he rolls off onto a flying chariot. I look down to see my wound heal.

I knew this wasn't my Loki...someone has poisoned his mind.

I try to summon a lighting bolt and hurl it at the device but nothing happens to it. I fly down to the others, Thor joining as well.

"What's the story upstairs?" Steve asks.

"The power surrounding the cube is impenetrable." I nod.

"Y/N is right. We gotta deal with these guys." Tony says.

Natasha looks up, "How do we do this?"

"As a team." Steve nods.

"I have unfinished business with Loki." Thor says.

"Yeah, get in line." A man I learned is named Clint says.

"Save it. Loki's gonna keep this fight focused on us and that's what we need. Without him these things could run wild. We got Stark up top, he's gonna need us..." Steve turns to see Banner on a small motorbike.

He walks closer and looks around, "So, this all seems horrible."

"I've seen worse." Natasha nods.

"Sorry."

"No. We could use a little worse." She slightly smiles.

"Stark? We got him." Steve smiles.

"Banner?"

"Just like you said." Steve nods.

"Then tell him to suit up. I'm bringing the party to you."

Suddenly Tony flies from behind a building, a huge Chitauri Leviathan following behind. "I... I don't see how that's a party..." Natasha says.

Banner starts to walk towards it, "Dr. Banner. Now might be a really good time for you to get angry." Steve nods.

"That's my secret, Captain. I'm always angry." He tunes and his skin starts to stretch and turn green. Once fully transformed, he smashes the Leviathan, flipping it as Tony blasts it, I cover my head as it explodes from above.

Tony lands beside us as we all stand together, "Guys." I look up, seeing hundreds more come out.

"Call it, Cap." Tony nods.

"Alright, listen up. Until we can close that portal up there, we're gonna use containment. Barton, I want you on that roof, eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays. Stark, you got the perimeter. Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back or your turn it to ash."

"Wanna give me a lift?" Clint asks.

"Right. Better clench up, Legolas." They fly off.

"Thor, you've gotta try and bottleneck that portal. Slow them down. You've got the lightning. Light the bastards up. Y/N I want you doing the same thing, and I also want you down here."

"Multitask. Got it." I nod, flying off with Thor.

I fly up and land in a building next to Thor, I summon huge lighting bolts and strike them down the building I was on, killing the Chitauri on it.

I then fly up towards the portal, twisting as lighting strikes around me. I land on a chariot and take my sword out, quacking taking out the Chitauri on board and grabbing the chariot. I spin and hurl it up to the portal, causing it to crash into other chariots.

Thor and I both land next to Steve as he was alone. I throw lighting bolts, flipping in front of the two men and throwing my sword into ones head.

As one was about to blast me, I slam my armored hands into an 'x' to block them, instead a huge blast erupts from within me and kills the Chitauri around us.

"Woah....did you know you could do that?" Thor asks.

"Definitely not." I smile, staring at my hands.

"I can close it! Can anybody hear me? I can shut the portal down!" Natasha suddenly says.

"Do it!" Steve yells.

"No, wait!"

"Stark, these things are still coming!" Steve looks around.

"I got a nuke coming in, it's gonna blow in less than a minute. And I know just where to put it."

"Stark, you know that's a one-way trip?" Steve asks.

There was no response, we watch the portal as Tony flies up with the nuke.

Soon he disappears in the portal, after a moment, all the Chitauri around us starts to shake and die. We look back up but we didn't see Tony.

"Close it." Steve suddenly says. Just as the portal was shrinking, I could see Tony fall out of it. "Son of a gun!"

But he wasn't slowing down....he wasn't hen flying. "He's not slowing down." Thor gets ready to fly.

Hulk leaps off a building and catches Tony, he slams on the ground and tosses Tony to the side. I rush over and flip Klein on his back and take off his faceplate. "Tony?" I ask, shaking him, we all lean back as we realize he was gone.

Suddenly Hulk roars, causing Tony to wake up, "What the hell? What just happened? Please tell me nobody kissed me?"

"We won." I smile.

"Alright. Hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it."

Thor looks up, "We're not finished yet.."

"And then shawarma after."

We had gotten Loki and the Cube....finally able to say goodbye.

I would admit, I was sad to leave our new friends. But I was happy to go home.
