I was forced to attend this stupid party, really I was just standing there as Loki talked."Loki! Y/N!" I look around as I hear my name, my eyes land on Thor who was sitting in a chair.
"Oh my! Thor!" I yell, running across the lounge to him.
"I'm so happy to see you." He sighs in relief.
"What? You're alive?" Loki asks in shock, trying to shush Thor.
"Yes, of course I'm alive."
"What are you doing here?" Loki asks.
"What do you mean, what am I doing? I'm stuck in this stupid chair. Where's your chair?" Thor looks at us.
"I didn't get a chair."
"Get me out of this one." Thor nods.
"I can't."
"What?" Thor frowns.
"I've made friends with this man. He's called the Grandmaster."
"Oh, he's crazy!"
"I haven't met him, I've just woken up this morning." I nod.
"I've gained his favor.. The Bifrost brought us out here weeks ago."
"Weeks ago? I just got here." Thor says in shock.
"What are you whispering about?" I jump as a man is right by my face. "Time works real different around these parts. On any other world, I'd be like, millions of years old. But here on Sakaar..." Grandmaster beholds himself. "Wow...now I finally get to see you, fully awake." He looks me up and down.
"What does that mean?" I ask.
"I've only seen you while you were sleeping. Nice to finally meet you." I give him a weird look and turn the Loki, "In any case, you know this... You call yourself Lord of Thunder?"
"God of Thunder. Tell him." Thor nods.
"I've never met this man in my life." Loki smiles, making me smack his arm.
"He's my brother." Thor nods.
"Adopted."
"Is he any kind of a fighter?" Loki shrugs, gives the universal gesture for so-so.
"You take this thing out of my neck and I'll show you." Thor smiles.
"Now listen to that. He's threatening me. Hey, Sparkles, here's the deal. If you wanna get back to Ass-place, Assberg..."
"Asgard." I correct him.
"Any contender who defeats my champion, their freedom they shall win."
"Fine. Then point me in the direction of whoever's ass I have to kick." Thor growls.
"That's what I call, contender! Direction would be this way, Lord."
Thor's chair starts moving, "Y/N! Loki!" He screams.
"We have to do something." I whisper.
"We can't...I can't." Loki sighs.
"You just don't want to try." I roll my eyes, walking off.
The next day, Loki links his arm with mine as he guides me into some sort of lounge area to watch the fight. We sit down together in the front, I put my head in my hands and start to panic.
Suddenly a large hologram of the grandmaster pops up in the middle of the arena, "Wow! Look at all of you. What a show, WHAT-A-NIGHT! Who's having fun? Please, I'm your host. Big round of applause for all of our undercard competitors... who died so gruesomely. Good sports. What a show! What a night! This is what you've come for and so have I. And now, without further ado...it's main event time!!" The crowd applause and yell, "Making his first appearance, though he looks quite promising, got a couple of tricks up his sleeve. I'll say no more, see what you
think. Ladies and gentlemen..." The crowd laughs. "I give to you...Lord of Thunder."
