The others ride horses across the bridge as I fly above them, I land down next to them as we stop in front of Heimdall
"Leave it to me." Loki nods and steps forward. "Good Heimdall-"
"You're not dressed warmly enough." Heimdall says, Loki looks back at us.
"I'm sorry?" Loki asks.
"The freezing cold of Jotunheim. It will kill you all in time, even Thor. The only exception is Y/N." Heimdall says. "You think you can deceive me?"
Loki shakes his head, "You must be mistaken. We're not-"
"Enough." Thor steps up." "Heimdall, may we pass?"
Heimdall stares him down. "Never has an enemy slipped by my
watch until this day. I wish to know how that happened."
"Then tell no one where we've gone until we've returned. Understand?" Thor walks past Heimdall.
We stops into the observatory as Heimdall puts in his sword.
"Be warned. I will honor my sworn oath to protect this Realm as its Gatekeeper. If your return threatens the safety of Asgard, Bifrost will remain closed to you. You'll be left to die in the cold wastes of Jotunheim." Heimdall says.
"I have no plans to die today." Thor says.
"None do." Heimdall inserts his sword into the control panel, and the apparatus of the Observatory starts up.
I smile as we fly down, finally landing in the cold planet.
We look around, it was dark and quiet. Too quiet.
"We shouldn't be here." Hogun says.
"Let's move." Thor walks ahead.
We all follow behind, looking over as a structure breaks and falls next to us.
I start to get a bad feeling as we continue. Everyone shivers at the cold, I wasn't affected by it.
Still never figured out that one.
"Where are they?" Sif asks.
"Hiding. As cowards always do." Thor says.
We stop as we we hear a voice. "You've come a long way to die asgardians."
"I am Thor Odinson!" Thor calls out.
"We know who you are." I look up to see his glowing red eyes.
"How did your people get into Asgard?" Thor asks angrily.
"The house of Odin is full of traitors."
"Do not dishonor my father's name with your lies!" Thor yells.
Laufey stands angrily, "Your father is a murderer and a thief. And why have you come here? To make peace? You long for battle. You crave it. I see you for what you are, Thor Odinson. Nothing but a boy, trying to prove himself a man."
"This boy has grown tired of your mockery." Thor takes a step towards Laufey.
We all notice the Jotun's around us, ready for battle. "Thor, stop and think. Look around you. We are outnumbered." Loki whispers.
"Know your place, brother..." Thor says angrily.
"You know not what your actions would unleash. But I do. Go now, while I still allow it."
"We will accept your most gracious offer." Loki nods, he get Thor to turn to leave as a Frost Giant steps up.
"Run back home, little princess." The Frost Giant says, Thor stops in his tracks.
