Chapter 14 - Metal Man

It's only been a year since Loki had "died"

It was all a lie.

We had heard of Loki being on Earth and causing chaos, so Odin did all that he could to get us the earth since the Bifrost is still being fixed.

Lighting cracks around me as I fly down to a jet, I land on top of it and jump down as it's ramp open. A man in a red metal suit walks over to me, I kick his chest, sending him into another man as I grab Loki.

I then jump out and fly us down to the Cliff Thor was waiting on, throwing Loki to the ground.

"Where is the Tesseract?" I ask angrily.

Loki laughs, "I missed you too, Darling."

"Do we look to be in a gaming mood?!" I ask angrily.

"Oh, you should thank me. With the Bifrost gone how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth." Loki asks Thor and I.

I grab Loki and pull him up, "I thought you died." I say sadly.

"Did you mourn?" Loki asks.

Thor steps up, "We all did. Our father..."

Loki pushes away from me, "Your father. He did tell you my true parentage, did he not?"

"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?" Thor asks.

"I remember a shadow. Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I was and should be king!" Loki yells.

"So you take the world I love as recompense for your imagined slights. No, the Earth is under Y/N and I's protection, Loki." Thor nods.

"And you're doing a marvelous job with that. The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly threat. I mean to rule them. And why should I not?" Loki chuckles.

"You think yourself above them." I narrow my eyes.

"Well, yes."

"Then you miss the truth of ruling, brother. Throne would suit you ill." Thor says.

Loki looks at Thor angrily, "I've seen worlds you've never known about! I have grown, Odinson, in my exile! I have seen the true power of the Tesseract, and when I wield it..."

"Who showed you this power? Who controls the would-be-king?" Thor asks.

"I am a king!" Loki yells.

I grab onto his collar and pull him close angrily, "Not here! You give up the Tesseract! You give up this poisonous dream!" I scream. My face softens as I look him over, tears filling my eyes. "You come home. Come home with me." I whisper.

"I don't have it. You need the cube to bring me home, but I've sent it off. I know not where." Loki smiles.

"Do you forget the love we shared? Have you forgotten how devoted I was to you?" I ask sadly.

"Of course not...my feelings could never change about you." Loki smiles, for a moment I see the real Loki.

"You listen well, Loki-" As I was talking, something knocks into me and throws me down into the forest below. I stand up to see the metal man. "Do not touch me again!" I point.

"Then don't take my stuff." The man says.

Thor lands next to me angrily, "How dare you touch her, the Goddess of War!" Thor yells. "You have no idea what you're dealing with."

"Shakespeare in the park? Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?"

"This is beyond you, metal man. Loki will face Asgardian justice!" I yell.

"He gives up the Cube, he's all yours. Until then, stay out of my way..." The man turns, "Tourist." He mutters.

Thor suddenly throws his hammer, knocking the man aside.

He flies over and punches Thor, I summon two large lighting bolts with my hands and hurl them at his chest. The man stands and a huge power erupts from his chest, sending Thor and I flying back. I pull out my sword and smile, flying towards him. I punch his metal head and slice my sword down his back, sliding under him as he lunges for me. I kick him back, making him fly into Thor's fist.

As I leap up to land on him, he flies back making me punch the ground. As Thor fights him, I create a lighting bolt and hurl it at the metal man. I take my sword back out and fly over to him, slashing at his legs.

I get knocked down by something flying and hitting me. "That's enough!" A man yells. "Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here."

"We've come here to put an end to Loki's schemes!" I yell.

"Then prove it! Put the hammer and sword down."

"Um, yeah, no! Bad call! He loves his hammer!" The metal man yells, making Thor back hand him.

"You want me to put the hammer down?" Thor asks angrily, he leaps up and slams the hammer into the shield, creating a huge wave to throw us back.

We all stand and walk back to each other, "Are we done here?"
