Thought that you'd remember, but it seems that you forgot.

You sit on the edge of the bed, leg bouncing up and down as your blood rushes with anticipation.

Today was yours and Yuta's anniversary, it had been 4 years since you two have been together and you finally thought that you'll be happy with each other again.

The past few weeks were exhausting, both mentally and physically. You two have been arguing over this girl, who was his new assistant at his company and who you thought he was romantically interested in.

The doorbell rang, you shot up from the bed, walking to the living with big steps. You could hear your heart beating loudly like you just ran a marathon.

The gift was ready, hidden in the wooden drawer of your nightstand. It was a 100k Swiss Gold Watch that you worked your ass off to get a promotion from your boss to buy this watch, you weren't necessarily highly paid either. You knew that Yuta had a hobby for collecting watches as you saw how unabashedly he showed it off to other people. So you triple checked if the watch was working (also because you didn't want to get tricked for your money), polished it and made sure that not a single speck of dust was on the precious jewellery.

"Hi baby~" you greeted, smiling brightly as you went over to hug him. Your mind ponders at the thought of what he prepares for this special day. A necklace? Maybe even that bracelet that I've been keeping an eye on. You have always been intrigued in the art of jewellery.

Your hopes were immensely crushed when he walked right past you, ignoring your presence like you were one of the furniture in the house. "Yuta..." you trailed off, voice lowering at each syllable, the anticipation in your blood replaced with dismay. High shoulder dropped down like a tsunami wave, the bright smile on your face slowly dropped as your mouth was slightly agape.

Of course you thought knowingly. Heading to wherever he went, which was his office. "Do you know what day it is?" You asked, a little part of your hoping this would just be a small prank he decided to play.

but what he said next made your heart shatter.

"Thursday? Why?" He replied, taking out his laptop, waiting for the computer to start. "You don't remember? To-today's a very special day for us" you were getting desperate, feeling your mouth dry. "I don't (Y/N), now go, i need to finish up on work" he didn't spare you a glance.

"Yuta it's our-" "i said go (Y/N)!" Your lips trembled as a small gasp. The way he pierced his nasty glare into you that he uses when he's angered by his employees along with the loudness of his voice made you flinch, heart thumping in your chest as you caved into yourself.

You felt the tears sting your eyes, trying to blink them away. You compiled to his words, spinning your heels around, the tears that you failed to blink away streams down your cheeks. The voice in your throat rips away as silent sniffles and cries escape your lips.

Your chest heaves up and down as you slowly move down onto the bed, laying with the pain in your heart.

It's hard for me blame you when you're already lost

You hummed happily as you carried the laundry basket filled with dirty clothes to the laundry room. Today was a sunday, sundays are domestic for you, going around to clean up the house.

You gently placed the basket on top of the washing machine, separating the clothes according to color. Once you finished placing the black clothes into the washer, setting it to the appropriate setting you worked on the whites ones. Kill two birds with one stone.

You pull out one of Yuta's shirts, placing them with the rest when a red taint catches your eyes.

No it wasn't wine neither was it ink stains.
