July 17th- 10 AM
Riiiiiiiing! Lee Sumin had the perfect day planned out for her and her best friend of 14 years, Ryu Minho. She wasn't going to admit it but Sumin had actually spent months preparing for this very day. Quickly realizing what day it was, Sumin got up and ready for the day she knew would change her life forever.
"Good morning mother!" Sumin cheered as her mom was serving breakfast.
"Oh, honey, you're just in time, I was about to call you down to eat," Mrs. Lee chuckled, "but what has you in such a great mood?"
"Ah mother, you're so forgetful," Sumin teases. "Today is my 14th friendaversary with Minho. It's going to be extra special on this particular one."
"Well now I'm curious," Mr. Lee chimes.
"Father!" Sumin exclaimed. " Anyway, that won't do. I'm not going to tell you guys anything until later on tonight so don't expect a word from me. I'll be going now. Love you guys!" Sumin left the house right at noon, which was part of her carefully crafted plan. In all honesty, the reason why Sumin cared so much for this particular day was not only because it was the day she and Minho became best friends but also because she saw him as more than a best friend. That's right, over the years Sumin developed a massive crush on Minho. He had everything that she could ever ask for in an ideal boyfriend and more. Not only was Minho charmingly handsome, but he was also smart, kind, caring, funny, and an overall great person. Initially, Sumin was going to keep her feelings to herself but she realized that she couldn't leave him in the dark. That was when Sumin decided she would confess to Minho on their friendaversary. She didn't care if he rejected her, she just wanted him to know her feelings about him. Sumin was nervous about ruining their friendaversary if she was rejected but she didn't know if she would ever confess on another day.
