As soon as Yena stepped out of the airport with her team, she could feel the difference in the heat in Israel and Korea. The bright sun was already beating down on her black hair, making her take out her sunglasses and hat.

She was glad there was a slight breeze that made her long white and blue gingham dress slightly sway left and right or else she knew she would just melt like ice cream in the hot sun. She took off her cardigan that she had brought for the plane and tied it around her waist.

"Yah but when are they coming? It's so freaking hot and we've only been out here for five minutes." Her friend leaned over and whispered in her ear, fanning herself with the hand.

"Ah... I don't know. I don't even know how I'm going to stay in Israel for ten days." Yena sighed while fanning herself as well. All she wanted to do now was to get into a room that was blasting with AC to at least relieve the sweat that was glistening around her forehead and making her bangs stick together.

"Ah! There's Pastor Kim!" Yena heard someone call out and was followed by many sighs of relief.

Finally

Yena internally thanked God when she could feel the cooling breeze of the AC when her pastor opened the car door and allowed everyone to go in after putting all of his or her luggage in the trunk.

"Now as soon as we get to the places you will be staying at, we'll be eating dinner then we'll show you around alright? You'll get to not only see the church that we'll be going to the most often but also the city of Jerusalem itself. Then you'll have time to rest." Everyone nodded when they heard their pastor tell the plans for the rest of the day.

Yena was glad they weren't doing much, since she was feeling very jet lagged from the flight. She was even uncomfortable in this car, fidgeting from the pain in her butt that was caused from sitting in a small plane seat for so long.

She fidgeted for a bit more before finding a comfortable spot and closed her eyes for the much needed nap.

"Here's the room you'll be using. There's no air conditioning in here but there's a fan. If you don't turn that off, you should be fine during the night."  The missionary, who introduced herself earlier to the team as Ruth, showed Yena and the rest of the team each of their rooms.

"Assa! At least I'm rooming with you this entire trip." Her friend, Jimin exclaimed as she flopped on the mattress.

"I guess..." Yena muttered as she placed her suitcase down and started opening it up so she could organize her clothes.

"Ang~~ don't be like that. Maybe something good will come out of this."

"Right because going on a mission trip forced by your mom to a hot and dry place during summer is better than going on a tour around almost all of France." Yena grumbled while hanging her clothes on thin wire hangers.

"Your mom probably had a reason for sending you here." Jimin reassured and stood up to hang her own clothes as well.

She nudged Yena playfully and said. "Who knows? Maybe you'll find a cute boy here."

Yena rolled her eyes at her best friend's words and shoved her away lightly.  "Aye stop saying ridiculous stuff and unpack your clothes."

"What? It could be possible, you know." Jimin persisted, going up to Yena's face closely doing small jazz hands. "Love works in mysterious ways."

"Stop it." Yena huffed out at her friend's antics before shoving her away like the first time. "Unpack your things quickly. Pastor Lee said that we would be leaving at 5."
