Jake stirred to the sound of his phone buzzing. He groaned, too tired to reach for his phone and put it on silent, so it remained where it was as it vibrated repeatedly. After hearing it buzz for what felt like the hundredth time, he pulled himself up, yawning as he brushed his dark brown hair back, and grabbed his phone, both curious and annoyed as to what was keeping him from sleeping.

Jake bit his lip nervously as he waited for Jungwon to add him into the group chat. He remembered making the bet less than a week and a half ago. He thought Niki and Sunoo wouldn't get together until the end of the month, while Jungwon believed that they would be together in two weeks. Clearly, Jake hadn't expected things to go so fast for the young couple. Jungwon, knowing how awkwardly shy Jake could be, was now helping him try to break out of his introverted bubble by using his advantage of winning their bet. Of course, Jungwon couldn't help but add a small extra penalty- Jake had to greet the members of the group chat with a pickup line.
