16. "Hey I know you're hurting...but you're not alone, ok?"
26. "Look I know we don't know each other that well, but I'm still worried about you. No one deserves to be alone."
30. I've had a rough day and honestly all I want right now is a drink and someone to talk to."
45. "You have to tell me why we're committing a felony before we do it. Not that that's going to stop us, but at least I'll have all the facts."

"Mick, care to explain why we're trying to burn down this building?"

"What's it matter? It's empty anyway."

"You have to tell me why we're committing a felony before we do it. Not that that's going to stop us, but at least I'll have all the facts."

"Well the captain said they need a distraction. So what better than arson?"

"Point taken." You were always astounded by Mick's bluntness. But hey, you'd probably act the same if you grew up a cold and hard criminal. But he wasn't really that mean or tough in your opinion. More of a big softie, hidden deep down that no one else could really see. And that's why you liked him.

You watch Mick aim his weapon at the building and pull the trigger. The building quickly became engulfed in flames, catching the attention of everyone nearby. You and Mick hide a ways away and watch the destruction you caused. You didn't really have any strong emotions bubbling up while the flames took over, Mick on the others hand, had something behind those eyes.

     "You alright Mick?"

"Fine." He plainly said not averting his gaze for even a single moment.

"Are you sure? You seem tense-"

"I said I'm fine alright! Just leave me alone!" Mick snapped at you, finally looking over at your shocked and almost scared expression. His features softened at your stare, but still he said nothing. You got up slowly and turned away, going to look for the others. You stop for a moment though, with your back still towards Mick.

"Look I know we don't know each other that well, but I'm still worried about you. No one deserves to be alone." And with that you left.

~Timeskip~

After a "successful" mission of team almost dying once again and nearly failing, you were spent. It was almost the same thing every time. Your shoulders were sore, your arms and legs felt heavy, and your head was hung low from pure exhaustion. From the weakness of dragging your limbs on board you were one of the last to get on the ship. You close the hangar door and make your way to the kitchen.

"Gideon, have a drink prepared for me by the time I get there, please." You continue walking while capturing the attention by the Waveriders resident A.I. You hadn't seen Mick since his outburst, and to be frank, you didn't want to. It honestly hurt considering you just wanted to ask how he was doing. You're just hoping he'd cooled off by now. You couldn't figure out what you had said or done that had offended him in any way. But, what can you do, if he didn't want to talk then you can't force him

"Very well Ms.(L/N). What would you like prepared?"

"Something de strong."

"Of course. Is there anything else you may need assistance with?"

"I've had a rough day and honestly all I want right now is a drink and someone to talk to." As you spoke walking into the room it's then that you spot Mock standing behind the island. "Oh...hi Mick."
