Leonard Snart x Reader

.....hey. So....it's been awhile. *cough* *cough* Ummm.....Sorry?

It's been over a year now since he.....died. More than a whole year and it still hurt to think about him. Leonard Snart that is. The love of your life. He sacrificed his life to save all of you. You miss him everyday and you wish you could bring him back all the time. But you can't.

A lots changed since he's been gone. You and the legends defeated Vandal Savage, lost Rip, earned two new legends, fought off an invasion, found Rip, dealt with the legion of doom. But, they unfortunately brought Leonard from the past to help them. It was difficult, considering he had no idea who you were. You met Leonard on the rooftop when Rip recruited you all. After defeating the legion though, Mick took Leonard back to his time.

But anyway, you all then broke time itself, met the time bureau, and earned another legend. That was all just leading up to where you are now. Getting captured by Nazi's and taken to Earth-X, where all the heroes are evil, and innocent people are enslaved.

You, Barry, Oliver, Sara, Alex, Jax, and Professor Stein were sent to Earth-X somehow and woke up in a large fenced off area with many other prisoners. With power-dampening collars around everyone's necks, there's was nothing any of you could do.

"So this crap hole's Earth-X." You ask looking around at the wasteland that's become of it.

"It's hard to believe a place like this actually exists on any earth." Alex says to everyone.

"I wish I shared your sentiment, but in all my travels to distant times, one thing which sadly remains constant is men's ability to feel hatred for other men." Said Professor Stein reflecting on our travels to many periods of time.

Soldiers barked orders at you as you stood with the others. "Keep moving. Move. All prisoners, stay away from the gate."

"Stars and triangles-" Jax was saying till Stein answered.

     "Badges used to identify purported crimes these people have "committed" to land in here." You look over at a man to the side and see a pink triangle on his prisoner clothes.

"What's the pink triangle for? What did you do?"

"I loved the wrong person." He answered.

"I'm.....so sorry....I understand how you feel-" I was cut off by him glaring over at you.

"You love someone of the same gender as you and you are too afraid to be seen in public with them?" He asked with frustration lacing his words.

"Not of the same gender." His gaze softened to confusion as he kept looking at you. "I was a hero, who had loved a criminal."

"Had loved?"

"He's.....no longer with us." You say dropping your head remembering Leonard.

"I'm sor-" You look up as he was interrupted by the guards yelling.

"Move! Move!"

"I don't like the looks of this." Stein exclaimed.

"What's going on?" Alex questions.

"Keep moving!"

"What are we doing?" You ask looking over to the man for answers.

"It's roundup time." He answered

"Roundup for what?"

"Move in line, now!" All the prisoners were gathering along the gates huddled in fear. You, the mystery man, and the rest of group all looked stood still as soldiers marched in.

     "So these are the heroes?" Right then another man walked into the cage, though he wore the suit of a general or another in high command. But as he got closer and you could make out his features, he was someone that you knew. Sara's father. He looked at Sara as if he knew her as well. "Blonde hair, blue eyes, this Nordic perfection. Why would you align yourself with the unpure?" He approached Sara.

     "Because I like men, and I like women." You look over to the man with the pink triangle to see him watching Sara. He seemed shocked with the confidence she had to say that to these men. You tuned out the situation before you to try and grasp the situation of what was happening. You were on another earth. There's Nazis. Doppelgängers. It was all so much.

     "Bring them all. And him!" You shot you're head up to the general shouting at you and the group. Soldiers started moving you out of the cage into a field a little ways away. You all look at each other for a plan of escape but when you tried, the general pressed a button electrocuting you through the collar. You fell to your knees in pain and feel this might be your defeat.

     "Up!" You all stood to your feet knowing not to disobey. "Go." This was it, you stood in front of a trench with your head hung low. The general put a bag over Oliver's head so he did not have to see the face of his Fuehrer.

     "Ready!"

     No

     "Aim!"

     I'm sorry Leonard

     Just then a blue ray of energy shot at all the soldiers guns.

     "I hate fire."

     It can't be

     "Snart?" Everyone asked in unison.

     "About time." The man with the pink triangle said with relief. Gunshots then started to be fired and you all ran for cover in the trench.

~Timeskip~

     You and the heroes made it safely to the mans (who's name you learned is Ray) and Leonard's base. You couldn't believe it, what were the chances out of all people did you have to see Leonard. You didn't even care about the situation anymore, you just looked at him. You tried not to but couldn't help it. He caught you staring once and you looked away trying to play it off.

     You walked around the base to look at everything when you stopped by a doorway hearing "Leo" and Ray talking. You peaked through the door to see they were arguing.

     "Tease me all you want for being sentimental. These heroes would risk everything for the people they love, just like I would, for you" Leo then held Ray by his cheeks and kisses him lovingly. You then walked away with a mix of emotions running through you. You knew it wasn't him, but it was at the same time.

     A little while after, you were sat on a crate while thinking and tapping your foot quickly. Your thoughts were then interrupted by the melodic voice that you missed so much.

     "Why the long face." You don't reply and keep your head down to avoid his eyes. "Ok then. Let me guess, Earth-1 me is your best friend? Brother? Please don't say father."

     You slowly lift your head at him and almost broke to tears in that very moment. But, you stayed strong as you looked at him. "Lover."

     "Oh. That must be, awkward." He stared at you with sympathy as you looked away again. "Listen, me and Ray are going to help you and your friends get back to the people you love. So soon you'll be back on Earth-1 doing whatever you and doppelgänger Snart do."

     "No." He looks at you with confusion when you reply. "My love has been dead for years now." You say starting to let small tears fall.

     "I'm sorry. I didn't realize. I must not be much help then."

     "No, you're not. But you're helping me get back home. So I'm going to have to deal with it for awhile longer." You get up and walk to pass him but stop at his side. You look into his eyes just to remind yourself of them. "Goodbye Leo." And at that you walk off.
