Leonard Snart x Reader

Tink. Tink. Tink. Tink.

It's been awhile since the team's had a mission here on the Waverider. Everyone's been doing their own thing while Rip scavenged for a way to beat Vandal Savage.

Tink. Tink. Tink. Tink.

You were becoming anxious with being on the ship for so long. You would either be in your own room listening to music, or talking with Kendra about anything just to past the time. God did it pass slowly though.

Tink. Tink. Tink. Tink.

You were currently in your room trying to read a book when you kept getting interrupted.

Tink. Tink. Tink. Tink.

"What the hell is that noise?" You couldn't concentrate and set the book down. This definitely wasn't a normal happening around here, so you were becoming quite suspicious.

Tink. Tink. Tink. Tink.

You stood up and made your way towards the large metal doors. Reaching over to the device that controls your door, you are greeted by a familiar face when it's open.

"Well hello there, doll."

"Don't call me that, Snart." You scan him up and down to see him fidgeting with his ring. Piecing together the cause of the infuriating noise.

"Aww come on, I thought we were pals?" Leonard was casually leaning in the doorway, showing off his signature smirk.

"What do you want? Well, besides keeping me from a terrific book." You walk back to your bed and sit on it, all while keeping your eye on Leonard.

"Well I don't want to seem ungrateful or anything, but it's getting a tad bit boring in this bucket of bolts." You wouldn't admit it to his face but, Leonard was right. It's been days since you all have gone anywhere. "What do you say we go and cause a little trouble somewhere."

     "Oh please, even if I wanted too, everyone on the ship would know you'd be messing with them."

     "Who said anything about staying on the ship." Oh that devious thief. "Come on I can tell your bored (Y/N). Don't you want to have some fun?" You look to Leonard and just take in his presence. You'll admit, he was easy on the eyes. And his voice was always so smooth and witty. No. Focus.

     "Ok Snart. What do you wanna steal?

     "Well first, the jump ship." He raises his finger for you to follow but you interrupt him.

     "Is it stealing if we're bringing it back?"

     "Fair point." You and Leonard walk out of your room sneaking through halls towards the jump ship. You've both almost made it when out of no where Kendra turns the corner.

     "Oh hi (Y/N)...and Snart?"

     "Umm...Hi Kendra." You wave and try to act as if Leonard weren't there.

     "What're you guys doing?"

     "Oh just looking around the ship for something to do."

     "Ok, well, I'll see you later." Before she walked away though Kendra looked at you then to Snart. Without him looking Kendra sent you a quick wink, to which you silently scoffed at her. You ignore what just happened and both make it to the jump ship.

     "Alright Snart, where to?"

     "How about..." He taps a few buttons on the control system and shows you. "...here."

     "Central city? 2016? Out of everywhere you want to go, you want to head back to the same place you've stolen from countless times." You look at Leonard and he gives you a look saying 'trust me.' "Alright, you're the thief."

     The ship starts up and soon enough you're traveling through the temporal zone. In no time at all you're back in Central city, 2016. You both get out and Leonard sees the grand building before him. "Central City Museum."

     There are posters littering the outside of the ancient building for a new exhibit. "The Furatus Cor Meum Emerald. Well that's a mouthful, what is it Latin or something." (*wink* *wink*)

"It's a necklace that me and Mick were planning on getting right before Rip showed up. So what better time to get it than the present."

"I guess...Wait. Where is Mick anyway? Isn't he your criminal partner?" You look to Leonard who seemed worried for a split second before responding quickly.

"He said he was busy doing...something..."

"Mick? Busy? What does he do besides light shit on fire, steal, and get drunk."

"Everyone has secrets (Y/N). Who knows maybe he reads, or watches musicals, or writes stories." (*wink* *wink*) "Anyway lets go." Leonard rushed to the back of the building before I could question him any further."

You and Leonard had finally made it to where the necklace was being held. For not being a thief, you had to say you were doing quite well at this. Well, thanks to Leonard of course. You saw the necklace from a few feet away and were stunned. It was beautiful. It wasn't one of the cliché, giant, neck covering ones that are typically on display. It was small and simple, like it belonged in a jewelry store.

"It looks awfully simple to be a museum exhibit." You start to walk towards it but stopped when Leonard grabbed your arm pulling you back. He threw out a small smoke pellet to reveal the dozens of motion sensory lasers. "Well that's cliché." You were still for a few moments noticing how close you were to Leonard. He kept his hand on your arm and your back was almost fully up against him.

"Gotta keep your eyes open doll." You normally hate the name he calls you. But for some reason, this time it sent chills all throughout you. All too quickly for your liking, he took his hand off your arm and walked towards a wall.

"So what now, you going to mission impossible your way through the lasers?"

"That...is so improbable." Leonard tapped along the wall for a few minutes.

     "What are yo-" You were cut off when Leonard pressed a tile on the wall that opened to show a electrical panel. "Wow. Impressive." Leonard winked at you (which you quite liked) then flipped a switch that turned off the lasers.

     "Now come on, we're running out of time." You and Leonard go straight up to the necklace and Leonard takes it off the pedestal.

     "Well that was easy."

     "FREEZE!!"
