     This is honestly the cutest request I've ever gotten and loved writing it so much! Thank you @Queen__SuShi this idea was amazing and adorable. Btw if you hadn't noticed I'm gonna start adding titles to my imagines now, just so it's easier to differentiate each one.

It's been over 24 hours since you got to see Leonard last. Him, Sara, Rip, Stein, and Jax were all teamed up to go on an undercover mission in some neighborhood. But you were getting worried. And lonely. You'd been together with Leonard for years now, after he first decided to help you brother out. Barry wasn't all too happy about your love for each other but supported you nonetheless. Only after threatening Leonard first.

You always feel empty, or like you're missing something when he is away from you for too long. You could even check in through coms since Rip thought they'd jeopardized the mission. So you just decided to lay in your shared bedroom till he returned.

     This was proving to be more difficult than you anticipated though. You needed to distract yourself in order to not worry as much. So you start by cleaning around the room. It had gotten a little messy lately what with never having time for cleaning between missions. Everything was going smoothly as you made the bed, until your mind began to wander to Leonard and his safety again. You turn to your phone and immediately pull up your music, shuffle it, and press play.

     After a good half hour or so, you have already started sweeping and heard many different songs so far. But then, a very heartwarming and meaningful song came on, making you smile to yourself. Barry wasn't one for singing but he agreed to sing this for Iris, and you couldn't help but love it as well. You turn your volume all the up and tune out the rest of the world, slowly sweeping along.

     You were so tuned out though, that you didn't hear the rest of the team return. Or when Leonard entered your room. Your back was turned to him and he stood in the doorway just smiling at you for a few moments. You sung along with the words, feeling the exact emotions Barry feels for Iris, but with you for Snart.

Leonard walked up behind you and carefully wrapped his arms around your waist, swaying along with you. He started to sing as well, having heard the song from you replaying it over and over again before. You jumped at first but relaxed into his touch after realizing it was him.

"So, how was the mission-..." Leonard silenced your words by spinning you to face him and placing a finger at your lips. He took your hands in his and placed them around his neck before placing his at your waist. Leonard pulled you closer and sang to you while slowly dancing around with you in his arms. You couldn't help but smile as you laid your head against his chest. Mixing the sound of his voice and his heartbeat into perfect unison. Leonard and you continued to dance as the song played, all before it unfortunately came to an end.

You leaned your head back to look at him and catch his eyes already having been watching you. "So, do you want to talk about the mission now?"

"No, it's late. You should get some rest, it's been a long day for both of us."

"Why? Did something happen?" You hold his face in both your hands trying to scan him for any potential injury you didn't notice before.

"No no, nothing like that." He puts his hands over yours and brings them down to hold close to his chest. "I'll tell you more in the morning, ok?"

"Promise?"

"I promise." Without another word you both get into bed and hold each other close, not wanting to be separated again. You drifted off to sleep with your head on Leonard's chest, and one of his arms around your waist. Confirming he's finally back, and that he won't go anywhere.

You couldn't say the bright light of the sun woke you up, but your obnoxiously loud alarm did. You woke to meet the eyes of Leonard who also looked to have just awoken from your alarm. He reached behind him and promptly hit it, causing it to silence before pulling you closer to him.

"How'd the mission go?" Leonard chuckled at your persistence on the matter and rubbed your back while explaining.

"It actually went surprisingly well. Besides the fact that it took longer than planned, we had no problems."

"Oh, then how come you couldn't just tell me that last night?"

"Well because I-..." Leonard was never really good at talking about how he felt. But he'd really been trying to open up more, for you. "Because I was homesick."

"Aww Lenny. Maybe we can ask Rip for a quick day trip back to Central City?"

"(Y/N) Central City isn't my home. You are." He holds your chin between his thumb and pointer finger, having you look at him.

     "Really?"

     "Yes really." Leonard kisses you lightly to calm and reassure you. It always works with you so you didn't complain. And you wouldn't have it any other way.

     Omg I'm so sorry this chapter was so short but I didn't want to overextend it and then ruin it. But I loved writing this so much!
